Jeff has been on it for quite a few years now and it seems like things have really taken off for him these past few months especially! A few months back, Jeff joined the Mutiny Bikes team and since then he’s been on the move crushing spots! It was announced a few weeks back that Jeff would be getting a signature frame and bars from Mutiny that’s due out next spring and between all the trips and videos, we figured it would be a good time to catch up to see what he has going on these days! Vans – Roy Van Kempen Welcome Edit

Roy Van Kempen has been repping Vans for a little while now, but today we have his official welcome to the team edit that’s loaded with goodness! As always, Roy comes through with plenty of grinds, unique setups and plenty of style! Check it!

Insight: Cult X Vans Collaboration Chukka Midtop & Era Pro

There’s no denying that we have seen a lot of collaborations between brands over the years and they have all lead to some pretty cool final products. A few years back, Cult teamed up with Vans for a collaboration that produced two styles of shoes that yielded some amazing results — I still rock ’em even — and they have finally teamed back up for a second go! The shoes themselves have been available for a few weeks now, but we figured it would be a good time to take a closer look their latest collaboration with the classic Chukka Midtop and Era Pro shoes that they used for this time around! Vans UK – One Week In Berlin with Alex Donnachie

We have been waiting for this one since the Alex Donnachie Interview we dropped a few weeks back! Once again, Alex and Rich Forne teamed up and needless to say they crushed it! Check out Alex destroying it in Berlin for Vans!

“Hailing from Scotland, Alex Donnachie is a house hold name in the BMX world. Known for his technical approach to his riding, Alex headed to Berlin with legendary filmer Rich Forne to hit the streets for a week and eat a few schnitzels. All went to plan apart from one day spent in the hospital when Alex found out he had allergies to nuts… this however didn’t stop him throwing down this hammer edit.”

Vans Rebel Jam 2014 Flyer

If there is one thing we can count on every year… It’s that the Vans Rebel Jam will kick ass! This year Brian Kachinsky is designing the course and they’re headed to London! Get the full scoop below!

“Vans rebeljam brings raw BMX to London

London, 4 November 2014. For the first time in rebeljam history the core BMX event will come to London, England. The York Hall Leisure Centre will be turned into a world-class street course for the best BMX riders to compete on.

Kicking off two days of BMX mayhem, Friday 21 November will see pro street riders descend upon London’s York Hall for the qualifying rounds. Course designer Brian Kachinsky is looking forward to it: “I’m really psyched on the Vans rebeljam because the whole event is BMX, top to bottom. It’s organised and built by BMX-ers…events like that are always the best. They always turn out to be more real and that’s the spirit of rebeljam; unfiltered BMX,” the Chicago native said. He continued: “There’s nothing huge on the course, yet there are opportunities to do big stuff.”

Over fifty of the world’s best street riders will make it to London for the rebeljam. One of the riders is England’s Dan Lacey: “I’m really excited for such a dope contest to make its way to London. Street riding has taken such a huge leap in its progression since the last rebeljam, so the level of riding will be insane. But most importantly the vibe at rebeljam is just riding and chilling with all the homies, and that’s what I’m looking forward to. Can’t wait!” Dan will join riders from all over the world such as Bruno Hoffmann (Germany), Simone Barraco (Italy), Eddie Zunda (Latvia), Dakota Roche (USA), Anthony Perrin (France) and Garrett Reynolds (USA) to name a few.

The Vans rebeljam will be judged in its own unique way, the way it was judged from its beginning back in 2004. Riders are scored in three categories: Best Style, Hard Tricks and Best Line. Respected riders in the names of Corey Martinez, Markus Wilke, Alex Valentino, Dave Cleworth and Jeff Klugiewicz will decide who will be riding the finals at York Hall on Saturday 22 November.

In true Vans rebeljam style, the action doesn’t stop there. As the event draws to a close and darkness falls upon London, the focus moves to House of Vans where in partnership with Red Bull, the official after party gets going with a solid line-up of the fine DJs, combining grime, garage, electronica and more.

House of Vans London will also host an exclusive photographic exhibition, paying homage to more than two decades of Dig Magazine and documenting 21 years of BMX culture.

Vans – Texas Toast Week

Vans dropped their video from Texas Toast, except they did things a little different and documented the entire week the crew was out there.
