Vocal BMX caught up with team rider, Ashley Douglas, to talk a little bit about their DRS bottom bracket, or Drag Resistance System, which allows you to control your cranks from spinning when your feet come off. Hit that play button to see just how it all works!
Here’s an interesting one I spotted over on The Merged that I’m surprised we haven’t seen until now. Vocal BMX have developed some bottom bracket spacers that feature a plastic insert that can be adjusted with three grub screws to adjust the amount of play your cranks have when it comes to spinning. A lot of people like to have their cranks stay in one spot for tailwhips and other tricks where the feet come off the pedals, and this looks like it should do the trick. This is available in a full bottom bracket kit for Mid and Spanish 19 or 22mm bottom brackets or you can just buy the washers in colors of black, white, red, blue, purple and light green.
