Volume‘s Matty Long puts in some work on the Wilmington Skatpark ledge. Quick and rad.
Ryan “Biz” Jordan Parts Ways With Volume
After many years with Volume, Ryan “Biz” Jordan has decided to part ways to pursue another offer. Ryan will still be riding for Demolition. Here’s a few words from Volume and Ryan about the decision…
“Our good friend and rider, Ryan “Biz” Jordan was offered a great opportunity recently from another company that he couldn’t pass up. Everyone here at Volume is really sad to see Biz go but also happy for him and wish him nothing but the best with his new sponsor. Biz is an awesome rider and better yet a good guy. He’s still apart of our family, with Demolition Parts. I just recently saw his Last Chance part and it turned out to be one of his better video parts to date. I don’t see Biz slowing down anytime soon.” – Volume
“As with anything, things come to an end and things change. This time around it happens to be me and Volume, which was not an easy decision. I would like to thank Brian, La and everyone involved at Volume for everything they have done for me over the years. Even though I’m not on Volume anymore I will still be apart of Demolition, so it’s not like I am going far.
Once again, thanks for everything guys.” – Ryan “Biz” Jordan
Volume – Stevie Churchill March 2011 Edit
Stevie Churchill spent some time out in SoCal visiting Volume. In the time he spent out there, he compiled a bunch of real good clips with Chris Long for this new edit. That last clip is soooo wild.
Volume/Demolition @ Fullerton Bikes
Some of the Volume and Demolition teams will be at Fullerton Bikes tomorrow riding and hanging out. It sounds like they will be having a pretty decent sale as well, so if you can make it to the shop in Fullerton, California then get there.
Interbike 2010: Volume / Demolition / Hour

Chris Long Interview
Chris is another one of those names who has been popping up more and more lately in the filming and editing side of BMX these days. Whether it’s for a Vital exclusive, or a Volume web edit, I never have to question if it’s going to be a quality video to check out. Not only that, his brother is Matty and that should create some sort of fear because of what these two combined can create. I’ve wanted to get this interview for quite a while now, and it’s finally a reality. Check out what Chris has to say and then leave him some love in the comments!
Name: Chris Long

On the Horizon: Volume/Demolition
Whenever I think of when I first remember seeing something from Volume or Demolition, I think of about 8 years ago or so when a guy was at the local trails on a Dinosaur frame. The guy was really good, and I was at that point where I was convinced riding a certain part or frame would be what made you good. I was only 12 or 13 at the time, but that’s okay.
A lot of things have changed since then. Frames no longer weigh more than me, I’ve accepted riding a certain part will never automatically give me tailwhips, and that if a brand is doing something right, they will continue to exist. With that being said, it was time we did a little catch up with Brian Castillo about the happenings over at Volume and Demolition these days.
