Dennis Enarson Talks “CAPSLOCK”

July 29, 2018

Dennis Enarson sat down for an interview about his new “CAPSLOCK” video that’ll be coming soon!

If you follow Dennis Enarson on Instagram, you probably know that he has a new video called “CAPSLOCK” coming next week that is bound to be absolute MADNESS. Dennis is saying this is his best video part since 2011, so that has to be an indicator of how crazy it’s going to be. Kyle Carlson from Vital BMX caught up with Dennis to talk about what went into making this one happen and everything that has gone into making it work out, even if it took longer than planned. The audio is a little goofy, but you can still hear everything. That is explained below. Hit play, check it out, and then get ready for the madness!

“DISCLAIMER – The audio in this sucks. I’m sorry. I shot this interview on two cameras with two separate mics. One of the clips (the one with Dennis’ mic) has officially gone MIA. However, you should still be able to understand everything he has to say – and it’s good. Dennis discusses CAPSLOCK – which he refers to as “his best video section since Last Chance.” Get stoked! The video drops 7/30!” – Vital BMX

Nowear – Chuck Covey and the No Handed Hand Plant Front Flip

July 28, 2018

Chuck Covey pulled off another worlds first…

Here’s a video from the Nowear crew out in Nebraska. This time around we get a look at Chuck Covey sending a front flip, but he takes both hands off and does a double hand plat with it. No Handed Hand Plant Front Flip… Or maybe a Double Hand Plant Front Flip… Either way, it’s crazy. Take a look.

“Chucky Covey is a madman and loves trying to come up with new tricks.
Early on in 2018 Chucky pulled off the worlds first 1 handed hand plant front flip at the famous “The Kitchen” bike park in Indiana. There was discussion at that time if a no handed hand plant front flip were possible. Chuck was convinced it was and that he was going to pull it at “the Nowear Compound” in Nebraska while there for the 6th annual Cornhuckit Jam.
Chucky killed it at the jam and the following day set forth on his mission. After several hours of taking countless brutal falls that would surely cause most of us to throw in the towel, Chucky pulled off one of the coolest looking tricks in history.
Thanks to lots of determination and perhaps a good potion of being nuts the “Flapper Flip” is now a thing.
Congrats “Chucky Covey”
Be sure to follow chuck on Instagram @chucky_covey

“The Nowear Compound nonprofit Corp” is a free BMX training area that “Nowear BMX” opens to any and all riders at no charge.

Nico Esteban – From Chad To Copenhagen

July 28, 2018

Nico Esteban coming through with a video from Chad, Africa to spots in Copenhagen…

It has been a while since we have seen Nico Esteban‘s name pop up! It turns out, there’s a reason he has been MIA for the past two years as he lived in Chad, Africa. Nico recently made the move back to Copenhagen and got back to stacking clips. Below you can learn a little bit about the video from Nico. Pretty interesting and some real solid clips!

“I lived in Chad (Central Africa) for two years. Due to security reasons imposed by the UN I was not able to ride my bike in Chad, so the idea of start skating came into my mind. After some time skating on my own, a lot of kids were interested with it so I decided to do a recollection in Spain to bring the skates and start skating with them during the week-ends. Finally I ended up with 12 skates and it changed my life and a little part of their lifes too.

A month ago I left the country and also distributed all the skates there with the kids that represented a big part of my heart. I left my hair growing for 10 months in Chad and by cuting my hair and eating it i want to show that even if i left the country and my kids, they will be a part of my soul for my whole life. Thanks to them and to everybody that contributed with the project.

Video filmed in Copenhague (Denmark) during 10 days after my return from Chad by my awesome cousin Guille.”
