Colony BMX – Sessions @ Sydney

Check out this raw cut from the time the Colony team spent in Sydney…

Here’s a fresh batch of clips that Colony released from the sessions the crew caught during their trip to Sydney for the Vans BMX Pro Cup. This was filmed during park and trails sessions, which the crew put together some great riding, even though this has a real chill and relaxed vibe to it. Take a peek!

“We spent 6 days in Sydney mainly for the Vans BMX Pro Cup but we caught a few sessions outside of that which we filmed a few fun clips for this video along with a few clips from practice at the Vans BMX Pro Cup.

Riders featured are Chris James, Josh Dove, Alex Hiam, Dean Anderson, Luke Parker and Jake Wallwork.

Here’s one we did not expect to see online so soon. The BMXFU squad have released their latest full-length video “FU666” online for everyone to check out. This video is just about an hour long and is stacked with amazing riding and some heavy laughs from start to finish. Rob Darden Named Coach of Chinese BMX Olympic Team

Rob Darden has been named the coach of the Chinese BMX Olympic team! As many of you know by now, the Olympics have added freestyle BMX to their list of events for the 2020 Olympics. Since then, we’ve been seeing teams being formed in different countries around the world. Today, we caught wind that Rob will be taking on the role as the coach for the Chinese team. So far we’ve been seeing coaches being picked from the countries they are representing being picked, so it was a bit of a surprise to see this news pop up. There’s no doubt that Rob will be a great coach, and we’ll be interested to see who he ends up picking as the riders to represent the country! Below is Rob’s Instagram post that brought the news…

We’re big fans of Brodie Gwilliam and his unique approach to riding BMX, so we were stoked to see he has a new interview up on the Northern Embassy where he talks about how he got into BMX, balancing out riding with farming, dealing with the long Canadian winters, his ramp setup in his barn, why he bought a Red camera and more.
