Tempered Dynasty Crew – Dylan Steinhardt

The Tempered crew has been slowly growing with the addition of some of Australia’s finest. It looks like they’ve added Dylan Steinhardt to their Dynasty Crew and, after watching this video, it’s easy to see why. Dylan slays when it comes to charging big rails and ledges, sends it on some big drops and gaps. This is packed with some real solid riding. Check it out!

“Dylan is one of the new additions to TMPRD, forming part of the Dynasty crew and incredibly well deserved. It seems as though Dylan has only been kicking around, dirtying the Brisbane BMX scene up for a short while, but man, what an impact he has had already. He is quickly becoming one of my favourite people to ride with, and of course, film with also.

We started working on this edit back in February this year when a few of us tripped down to Sydney for the Vans bowl jam. At the last minute, Dylan decided he was coming, and we couldn’t have been more stoked. The dude went IN on the trip, and hasn’t stopped since. It’s been really awesome getting to work with someone not previously familiar to me. His approach with filming is mind blowing at times, his nonchalance for crazy set ups and his happy-go-lucky attitude continue to impress.

Dylan represents everything in BMX which is awesome and is someone I am super stoked to have apart of TMPRD. I can’t help but compare his riding to Jay Wilson, in being this skinny little mongrel of a thing being bucked around on his bike, barely holding on and pulling the wildest shit. Vans kicking your day off with a bang featuring Anthony Perrin and Kilian Roth getting down on street spots all over Copenhagen, Denmark! This one has a unique, laid back vibe to it with more of a raw feel to it, but don’t let that fool you… There is a ton of heat packed into this BMX video. Plus, Rich Forne did an amazing job with the film work as a whole (and as expected). Both Anthony and Kilian found plenty of rails, ledges and more to put their pegs to heavy use on. The crew over at Subrosa just announced the new Matt Ray signature MR1 frame that is available now! The news came with a BIKE CHECK and full specs and details (which we have below) on the frame! This is Matt’s first signature frame and it’s safe to say it turned out awesome. Get more details below!

The Matt Ray signature MR1 frame is made from full Sanko 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ standover height and a 13.4″ (slammed) chainstay length. The frame features a 120mm tall, heat-treated, integrated heat tube, gussets on the top and down tubes, double butted top and down tubes, an integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, a Wishbone on the chainstays, plenty of clearance for 2.40″ tires, removable seat stay brake mounts and guides and 14mm dropouts.

The MR1 frame comes in 20.5″, 20.75″ and 21″ top tube lengths, colors of gloss black and Satin Translucent Blue and weighs in at 4.8 lbs. (20.5″). The frame is available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Subrosa now! You can also pick it up on the Subrosa Webstore for $329.99!
