A few weeks back Colony threw their Hard Yards 2 Backyard Invitational contest on their ramps. As expected, it was another wild contest packed with crazy riding from a ton of different riders who all brought something unique to the table. We got a look at the full event highlights, but now Colony have started releasing highlights from each event specifically. CHeck out what went down during the Street Spine session!

It’s time for the 2nd game from Dennis Enarson‘s The Game of BIKE Invitational. This time around Demarcus Paul and Nathan Williams go head to head to see who moves on to the next round! Hit play to check out what went down and who took the win.

“Started by a wave of motivation in the earlier NC spring days, this one became a bit of a challenge to finish after work/travel picked up and some editing procrastination set in due to not setting a deadline for myself.

Leon Perkins – Still Some Left

Leon Perkins is back and crushing it!

After a few year hiatus due to life taking over, Leon Perkins had a few opportunities come through that gave him the time to get back on the bike. Well, it sure doesn’t look like he missed a day because he’s still crushing it just as hard as he used to!

“Back in 2019 I took a step away from riding bmx, with a growing family and responsibilities adding up I couldn’t ride the way I enjoyed riding, riding to my best ability and pushing myself.

Over the next few years I suffered with depression, only touching my bike a handful of times.

At the start of 2023 I was asked to work at junction 4 skatepark as a coach, whilst also working along side British cycling as a tutor, judge and also piloting their new coaching courses and freestyle bmx clubs.

Back on the bike, I find myself getting more confident as the time goes on so I set myself 12 months to film an edit, times up! I wanted to get 15 more clips but ran out of time and I have an injury so here it is.

Despite injuries slowing this project down, he ended up with a banger of a video packed with plenty of speed, style and progression over those years.
