Max Bespaliy Bike Check – 6 Pegs?

April 1, 2017

There has been a lot of talk about ways to get more pegs on a BMX bike these days. Last week we got a look at the Pegdal that combined a peg and a pedal, for example. It looks like Max Bespaliy wanted to mix things up, so he decided to remove his pedals, cranks and sprocket and installed 2 more pegs on his bike. Above is a quick video, but if you really want a better look check out this Bike Check with a ton of photos of how he setup the two extra pegs.

“New trends are coming! Here’s fresh bike check from Max Besplaiy with 6 pegs on board:

Frame: Stress BES 20.8
Handlebar: Stress sport bar 8.88
Fork: stress voshod 28mm
Pegs: stress plastid
Seat and seatpost: stress BES seat and stress tripod seatpost
Stem: stress kirpich

FloriDeah – Blowing Up A Car and Riding the Backyard

March 31, 2017

Here’s the latest FloriDeah video featuring Trey Jones, Jabe Jones and crew catching a session on Trey’s backyard ramp setup. The title is a little click baity because we were thinking Markit Zero car explosion, which we wouldn’t put past Trey, but it was a little less crazy. Either way, there’s some solid riding and it looks like they had plenty of fun blowing up a car.

How To Endo Grind with Matt Beringer

March 31, 2017

If you’re a fan of Matt Beringer, there’s no doubt that you have done this trick at some point on your bike. Today, 5050 BMX released this new How To video where Matt gives you a few words of advice on how to do an Endo Grind (We honestly had no idea if this trick really had a name, but we’ll take Matt’s word for it). This is a fairly basic trick, but it’s fun and easy to throw it into your bag of tricks. Hit play to let Matt give you a few words of advice, then show you how to get it done regular and fakie!

“This video is about How to Endo Grind with Matt Beringer. Matt is a legend and turns 40 tomorrow so why not celebrate with a little endo grind video.”

Scotty Cranmer Back To Pedaling

March 31, 2017

These Scotty Cranmer‘s progress updates have been amazing to see. Last time, Scotty showed us that he can walk on his own. Today he decided to release another update giving us a look at what he has been working on, and what he can do. This is the first time he has pedaled on a bike since his accident. It’s a three wheeler for safety, but it’s amazing to see him continue to make some crazy progress, especially considering doctors weren’t sure if he would even walk again. Hit play to check out the progress!

“It’s almost been six months since my life-changing accident and it’s been a few weeks since I have done an update video on my recovery progress. In the last few weeks I have noticed continuous gains in strength of my body and also the coordination of my movement. I have been going to physical therapy a few times a week and that is helping tremendously with my walking and in this video I show the difference between the walking I did in the last video and and in this video. But also I try something that I was pretty nervous about trying. I decided that I was strong enough to finally try to ride on my own on the trike! I was scared that my body wasn’t going to be strong enough or coordinated enough to be able to steer the handlebars keep my balance and keep peddling all at once. So as I jumped onto the trike and started to pedal it became obvious what my weaknesses were but I also surprised myself on how well I was able to control the trike! I did three laps around my bike shop and by the 3rd lap I couldn’t believe how much better I was getting at riding than the lap before!
I am so proud of this video and this is such a great accomplishment during this recovery and I’m also grateful for everyone’s continuing support throughout it!
