Trey Turner 2017 Video

March 24, 2017

It has been a little while since we’ve seen a BMX video out of Trey Turner, but he’s been out there putting in work on spots. Trey has been getting some help from Eastern Bikes on parts, so he put together a fresh video of clips to say thanks for their support. Trey brings a bunch of grinds and plenty of nose balance in this video. It’s kind of crazy that we don’t see Hang Nothings very often these days, but Trey kills it with them! Hit play and enjoy!

“Back in October, I broke my frame that I been riding on for about 3 years and really didn’t have the money. I made a post on Instagram about how it sucked , that I couldn’t ride and Eastern Bikes reached out to me about riding one of there frames . Of course I was down and felt like it was a honor that I was actually getting hooked up by a company I been wanting to ride for since the day I started riding ten years ago. Since then they have helped me with a few parts and also a vintage eastern seat that replaced a seat I been riding for about 7 years which is crazy because it actually works perfect. Anyways I wanted to shoot a video for them and through the weather and ugly days I was able to produce this to thank them for the added motivation and thank them for just being there when I needed someone the most . Thanks guys, it means the world to me . Enjoy ? Special thanks to ditty beatzz for the beat”

Mateus Beckmann Bio

March 24, 2017

The Role Crew down in Brazil just hit us with a link to their latest Bio video featuring Mateus Beckmann for your viewing pleasure. This video is in Spanish, but they have sub-titles, plus the riding speaks for itself. Mateus gets down with flatland and mixes it in with street riding, leading to some real rad clips.

“Something about the pro life of a brazilian flatland and street bmx rider. Produced by Diego Amaral and sponsored by Mastre Bikes – “

Oscar Daeche & Fooman Skatepark Edit

March 23, 2017

Here’s a rad one from some time Oscar Daeche and Fooman spent cruising a skatepark down in Melbourne, Australia! This video has a pretty laid back vibe, but both guys ended up producing some great riding clips worth checking out! This is a reminder of how good Fooman is on a bike, too. He’s usually behind the lens these days, so it’s good to see some fresh clips!

“It’s a small world but somehow managed to bump into Foo, 16,000 miles from the heart of Devon, England. We’ve been out here, working, riding and all the other stuff for a while now and haven’t filmed bmx in a long time. We’d been wanting to film for a while but with busy schedules and not knowing all the good street spots, figured it would be a good idea to get back into filming by getting it started at this sick park in Keilor, Melbourne.

Filmed: Oscar & Foo
Edited Oscar
Song: Logic – Young Jesus

March 23, 2017

Here’s one for your viewing pleasure! The entire JIB Tape #4 video is now online! This video features a TON of riders getting down on spots around Pennsylvania and more. This was all filmed over the course of a few years and all the hard work coming together makes for a damn good watch. Hit play and take in all this street goodness.

“We are extra hyped to bring you the online premiere of Jib Tape #4!

This video was filmed in Eastern Pennsylvania and showcases realistic street riding from a variety of talented individuals who reside within the state. A large majority of the filming was conducted in the Philadelphia region over the past 2-3 years. The project’s goal is to document the stylistic approach to riding on less than perfect obstacles that the area has been and continues to be known for.

Dan Foley – My New Favorite Rail Hop

March 23, 2017

The spring showers have started and it looks like it kept Dan Foley from cruising every day. Instead of wasting the day, he decided to do some spot searching. Once things dried up, he took full advantage of his new spot finds. Hit play to check out some clips he stacked from a few curb cut spots and a sweet rail hop setup that he came across! Dan doesn’t disappoint!

“Saturday may have gotten rained out, but some damp spot searching happened to pay off on Sunday. Curb pads, bump jumps, rail hops, and sunshine; what more could you ask for?”

Game of BIKE – Billy Perry VS Austin Augie VS Anthony Panza

March 23, 2017

Billy Perry just dropped this new video from a Game of BIKE that he played against Austin Augie and Anthony Panza at the Mastic park out East. As you can imagine with these three, they had a real good time and ended up laying down some real good riding. Going into this, it’s hard to guess just who would be taking the win. Hit play and find out what went down and who is currently holding the title!

“Panza, Augie and myself finally decided to VS each other in this highly anticipated 3 person Game of BIKE. We were riding Mastic skatepark and It was definitely hard to ride to our full potential due to the frigid temperatures, little kids on scooters and a quickly setting sun. We are going to continue this series in different parks in the future.”

Odyssey BMX – Twisted Pro Pedals

March 23, 2017

Let’s take a closer look at the new Twisted Pro Pedals from Odyssey!

Odyssey BMX Twisted Pro Pedals

Here’s some news we’ve been waiting to see since our first look during our trip to Frostbike back in February. Odyssey have released their new Twisted Pro Pedals! The original Twisted PC Pedals haven’t really had any changes since their inception in 1997, beyond the countless color options. Not too many products have been around for this long without any major changes, which is a good indicator that they work well. With riders looking for slightly bigger pedals these days, Odyssey decided it was time to offer a modernized version of the pedals to accommodate for some of the needs of riders in 2017.

The Twisted Pro Pedals are still made from the same high strength plastic composite with the same look as the original, loose ball bearings and a chromoly spindle, but feature a larger body with a 104mm width and 98mm length. The original Twisted PC pedals have a 98mm width and 89mm length. This increase gives you more room for your feet and an increased concave for more grip, along with a slimmer profile. The Twisted Pro pedals feature 12 oversized molded pins per side versus 16 on the originals, but the increased size and concave helps reduce the need for as many pins.

The Twisted Pro pedals are available in black — Odyssey will be adding colors into the mix soon — and weigh in at 14.6 oz. These pedals are available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Odyssey worldwide starting now.

Don’t worry! The Original Twisted PC Pedals will still be available and continue to be manufactured well into the future.

The Twisted Pro pedals are slightly slimmer than the originals. Lean and clean. These are still made from the same high strength composite as well.

Here is a side by side comparison giving you a look at the differences between the original Twisted PC and the new Twisted Pro pedals when it comes to size.
