Vans BMX Pro Cup – Australia 2017 Finals

We haven’t seen a ton of footage surface from the Vans BMX Pro Cup in Sydney last weekend, but that’s starting to change. Dan Foley dropped this raw cut of footage from Finals that were packed with some crazy riding, along with a little bit of rain delay action. There’s a lot to take in, in this one, so hit play and enjoy! We can’t wait to see what goes down in the next 3 stops!

“Raw footage from the finals at the first stop of the Vans BMX Pro Cup in Sydney, Australia. Didn’t end up making the cut, so I picked up the camera to capture the madness. Despite multiple rain delays, the contest still went on and everyone absolutely killed it.

Scotty Cranmer – Time Is Money

Scotty Cranmer always keeping things interesting. Here’s a look at a new game he cooked up that tests the guys balance. The best part is they’ve managed to make it a little more intense by throwing a dollar in for every second they can hold a tailtap, icepick, footjam, fakie and slider. Which team ended up taking the cash prize and how much did they win? Hit play and find out!

“I came up with this idea to do a team balance battle. I had to come up with a way to motivate the boys to try and balance for as long as they could. So I made them the deal that every second they did per trick would equate to a dollar. That being said if you had a total of 60 seconds at the end of the game that sixty bucks. Thats a pretty good way to make some fast cash and it fired the boys up. The competitive levels were high and the stakes made them even higher. A couple of spinals and falls made for a good laugh but there were a couple unbelievable times that came out of this and the pay out was huge!”

Fit Bike Co. – Matt Nordstrom Complete Giveaway

We have seen some interesting giveaways in the past, but this is a pretty rad one. The Fit Bike Co. team were in Las Vegas recently and decided to give away one of Matt Nordstrom‘s signatre complete bikes to one of the locals that was crushing it at one of the parks. With a bike on the line, all the kids started sending it with the pros and some solid clips were stacked. Check out what went down.

As always, Linwood stacked some HEAVY clips with some big grinds and rail rides, with a side of sidewalk beers. This part is 2 minutes long, but it feels way too short. It’s always hard going into a trip with a plan of what you want to make happen. It’s usually a fast track to disappointment since BMX trips, regardless of how much planning you put into it, will rarely go completely to plan. Poiss Barbier spent some time in New York City last summer, and had high hopes for a video that he hoped to make from the trip. Unfortunately it didn’t quite go his way, but he did decide to see what he could cook up from the trip. Had he not said anything the videos description, we probably would have had no idea that it wasn’t what Poiss had hoped for. Either way, he came through with a video that has some solid riding mixed in with a good amount of landscape and lifestyle footage that makes for an interesting watch. Check it!
