Merritt – Two Day Solo Mission In Barcelona with Anthony Panza

February 15, 2017

Anthony Panza spends a few days exploring the streets of Barcelona, Spain…

Anthony Panza coming through with a fresh video for Merritt from some solo spot exploring sessions that he caught during his trip over to Barcelona, Spain! Based off the video, it’s safe to say he didn’t have much trouble finding some great spots to ride and ended up stacking some real solid clips. It sounds like Anthony is working on a bigger video for Merritt that we would imagine he saved his best clips for, so get excited for that.

“Straight from Simple Session in Tallinn, Estonia to Barcelona, Spain. With only 5 days in Barcelona, I managed to film a video of myself cruising around the city of Barcelona within two days. Nothing too serious, just soaking up the beautiful environment and having fun. Be on the lookout for a Merritt Bmx part dropping soon. Shout out to my sponsors for making this trip happen. Ya’ll the best.” – Anthony Panza

Kicked Out By The Cops

February 15, 2017

The curse is not broken and they get kicked out by the cops!

Scotty Cranmer, Big Boy and Cory Berglar decided to take advantage of some warm weather that hit the East Coast the other day. They made their way to a pre-fab skatepark for a session that definitely had its ups and downs… Mostly Big Boy on the down side of things, but it’s all good. Hit play to check out what went down before they were kicked out by the cops. Check it out!

“We rolled up to a new skatepark in New Jersey, we have never been here before but we figured since it was 66 degrees out we would give it a go. All of the younger skateboarders were there that are local to the park and they were super fun to session with. I love being back out riding with the boys, we had so much fun. Flair challenge turned into quite the challenge. Big Boy bends his brand new rail as well as gets a nice little spinal on the cursed rail. Cory goes down in the mini ramp. Big Boy and Cory get some good clips on the BMX bikes and Big Boy grabs a clip on the skateboard. Then to top that all off we got kicked out by the police because Big Boy is just to intimidating to have at the park I guess. All is ok though because I am out having fun with my friends and that is what it is all about.” – Scotty Cranmer

Ben Hennon on Federal Bikes

February 15, 2017

It looks like Federal Bikes have added Ben Hennon to their team.

HYPED TO ANNOUNCE OUR NEWEST ADDITION TO THE SQUAD @lord_ben_hennon ?? #federalbikes

A post shared by Federal Bikes (@federalbikes) on Feb 15, 2017 at 12:36pm PST

After riding for Hoffman Bikes in the U.K since 2009, it looks like Ben Hennon has decided to change things up and join the Federal Bikes team. Above is a quick video Federal Bikes just posted on Instagram to announce the news. It’s not a complete shock to see Ben apart of the team after all these years since he’s always been tight with the Seventies Distribution crew, which is the parent company of Federal. We would imagine this news should mean we’ll be seeing more of Ben in 2017 and that’s always a good thing. Keep an eye out!

Update: Here’s a look at Ben’s brand new setup with Federal Bikes Lacey frame decked out with parts from Federal and few other brands that Seventies carry like Cult and Primo. Looks like a dialed unit to us!
