Sneak Peek: Fly Bikes – Devon Smillie Signature 2016 Fuego Frame & Bars

Here’s some information that we’re sure a few of you have been waiting for Fly Bikes released a preview of the new 2016 Devon Smillie signature Fuego frame and bars that have seen a lot of changes for this year. It looks like they have made the front end indestructible with DOUBLE gussets on the top and bottom (Internal and External), raised the seat tube height, switched from a Spanish to Mid bottom bracket (along with why), shortened up the chainstays and gave it a fresh set of color options. Washington D.C Cranksgiving Street Jam 2015

It’s kind of crazy that we don’t see many BMX videos from the Washington D.C area. You would think a place like that would attract a lot of riding, but it’s almost like a best kept secret of spots. That changed recently when the Cranksgixing Street Jam rolled through with riders from all over the east coast getting down on some of the city’s finest spots. Hit play and check out what went down.

“Washington, D.C. area local Jack Heathen, along with new transplant Mike Hinkens, and Chicago native Dan O. decided to throw a street jam in the heart of of D.C., before winter hits the Northeast U.S. with it in any week now.
Despite one car accident (with Shane Leeper, who ended up being ok), the jam was awesome time, with a kick-ass group of riders. Featuring riding from Dillon Leeper, Shane Leeper, Mike Hinkens, Eric Holladay, Mike Stahl, and more.

TUSCaTAPE 2015 – Huc & Stklnd

Tiago Rato just hit us with a link to the full-length BMX video “TUSCaTAPE 2015 – HUC & STKLND” that was produced down in Portugal over the course of the past two years. This video, which is primarily street with some skatepark footage and even a taste of trails, is 48 minutes of pure goodness with some real solid riding and great spots from start to finish. Ride 4 Ray – Ray Malinga Memorial Jam Flyer

Last month, BMX tragically lost Ray Malinga in a car accident. It’s always a bummer when BMX loses a rider and it’s especially hard when an influential and positive rider like Ray, who was a huge part of the scene in South Africa, is lost. There has been a street jam scheduled for December 6th in Johannesburg to remember Ray. Everyone is meeting up at the Library Gardens at noon and then everyone will roll out from there. It sounds like they’re also collecting bike parts and BMX goods that will be used to raise funds, so if you have anything to spare, make sure you bring it along. This is bound to be a real good day, so if you’re in the area… Make sure you’re hitting this one up! Rest in Peace, Ray!

“All City” – Full Video

Oh, man! You guys are in for a real treat now. Ben Green has decided to release the entire “All City” DVD online for your viewing pleasure. This BMX video was filmed over the course of three years (2012 – 2015) on the streets of London. The video features full sections from Joss Fenn, Mike Kirkby, Malick Cham and Joe Barlett, Ben Green, Warren Daniel and Dan Boiski. This is one of those BMX videos you cannot pass up because all 35 minutes are pure gold. Excellent riding, dialed spots and super good film work.
