It’s not all too often that we’re treated to a new BMX video from Shane Weston, but when we are… It’s always damn good. Check out his latest video for Eclat where he puts his super technical and unpredictable freecoaster skills to work. Despite having a really chill vibe due to the music and editing, the riding in this is pretty nuts. Absolute must see for sure!

Standard – Johnny DelBalso Welcome Video

Johnny DelBalso is now doing it for Standard Bykes and, based off this BMX video, it’s very clear to see why. This video starts out heavy on the park side as Johnny crushes ramp after ramp, then it gets heavy on the street side of things where no rail is safe. This has more sprocket stalls than you have seen in the last 5 years in one video (and that’s awesome), quite possibly the first wall ride on a mattress and a ton of big grinds and tricks. You need to take a look at this one!

Gabe Brooks Off Stranger

We’re not quite sure what’s going on over at Stranger that is causing all the team riders to quit lately, but Gabe Brooks has decided to step away from the team as well. So far we’ve seen Sean Ricany and Augie Simoncini, along with flow team riders Denim Cox, Johnny Raekes, and Alec Siemon all part ways in the past couple weeks. This is definitely pretty interesting and we’re curious to see if this is the last blow the team will take.

“Today I am saying that I am no longer Riding for Stranger. I am thanking Caleb Quanbeck and Rich Hirsch for the things they’ve done for me within the beautiful times while riding BMX with them. I’ll continue to support and ride with the rest of the BMX community, but I would like to explore my life, seeking other employments, while continuing to ride BMX like a civilized human being.”

Whale Tales – DMV BMX Video

We’re not quite sure what the DMV has to do with this BMX video, but we can tell you that it’s loaded with goodness from Russell Wadlin, Dylan McCauley, Mike Hinkens and Carl Espy which is good enough for us! Hit play and watch this short but sweet edit from some of the spots they cruised over the course of a weekend.

““Blue whales are the largest animals ever known to have lived on Earth. These magnificent marine mammals rule the oceans at up to 100 feet long and upwards of 200 tons. Their tongues alone can weigh as much as an elephant. Their hearts, as much as an automobile.”

None were harmed in the making of this video, but a few were consulted. The result of that consultation was this mixtape of Russell Wadlin and Dylan McCauley along with guest appearances by Mike Hinkens and Carl Espy. Though we were unable to film any aquatic shots, we spent one week riding land in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
