Lee Musselwhite Interview

When we look at flatland, it’s pretty crazy because it has its own world and place in BMX. The riding is on a whole different level, the tricks have different names and there’s no denying that the work and effort it takes to actually begin to master the tricks would make most kids these days cry and hide behind their X-Box. Over the years, we’ve been becoming bigger and bigger fans of flatland just because it’s pretty easy to appreciate something so incredibly challenging. Plus, it seems like a lot of street guys are starting to see how good it looks mixed into their lines as well.
One rider in particular that we have always been big fans of is Lee Musselwhite. Lee is one of those riders that isn’t the kind of guy who is going to put out a video just for the sake of having footage from a new location, but he is pretty known for putting out a video when he has done something new. A little while back, he had a video drop that was filled with his original moves and we knew that there was no way we could skip out on getting to know the guy a little better.
Thanks to Effraim over at Flat Matters, we got ahold of Lee and hit him with a ton of questions. Let’s get to know the Spiderglide master!

Jason Phelan Interview

There’s no denying that Jason Phelan is one of those riders that is always awesome to watch ride because you don’t really know what to expect when he drops in. Over the years, he’s blown our minds time and time again between crazy stunts off the bike to some damn amazing riding on his bike. 2015 has been an interesting one for Jason so far, leaving long time sponsor Wethepeople, being let go from Nike and now joining the GT Bicycles team that has really gotten some fire behind it lately. After his last two videos dropped, we knew it was time to get ahold of him to find out just what his story is and what he has going on these days! Let’s find out just what The Irish had to say!

Top 5’s – Robbie Morales and the First Five Years of Cult

With Cult celebrating its first five years of existence, it seemed like a fitting time to get ahold of Robbie Morales for a round of Top 5’s to find out some of his more memorable moments that he has had with everything that has been accomplished so far. There’s no doubt that Cult have made some waves in BMX in its short existence and we have no doubt that there are many more years to come. Between some heavy videos, a stacked team from around the world, countless trips and a lot of dialed BMX bikes, frames and parts, they’ve definitely accomplished some amazing things. There’s always a pretty steady flow of new BMX talent coming out of the United Kingdom. Recently, we’ve been seeing a name popping up that has really caught our attention. Some of you might be familiar with Jordan Godwin from some of the videos he has popped up in over the past few months where he was absolutely crushing it. It’s always awesome checking out work from a new photographer that we’re not all that familiar with. A few months back, we started taking notice of Fernando Rodriguez Marmolejo’s film and photo work and we were nothing short of impressed. Dylan Lewis Interview

The BMX world has been seeing a lot of grinding and jibbing lately, so when a rider comes out of nowhere and starts blasting some MASSIVE airs and cranking out a ton of style, it’s really refreshing. The other week a video featuring Dylan Lewis dropped and it was packed with just that, and we were loving it. Shortly after, it was announced that he joined the Mutiny Bikes team down in Australia, so we couldn’t help but get ahold of the guy to find out just who he is! Although he’s healing up from wrist surgery, we can expect to see plenty of this dude in the near future! Check out what he had to say!

Matt Ray Interview

There’s no denying by now, if you’re keeping up with BMX videos, that you have seen Matt Ray pop up somewhere! Over the past few years we have seen Matt show up in a ton of videos absolutely crushing it on everything that he has the chance to ride.
