Giveaway: KMC Kool Knight Chain

Some of you who have been checking out the site for a while now might recall the review I did on KMC‘s prototype “Kool Knight” chain around a year or so ago. At the time, the idea was still new (before DK announced their version) and they were just in the testing phase of things. They asked if I wanted to give one a go and give them feedback on it. After the review was done and I felt I had done sufficient “testing”, KMC had asked for me to send it back to them so they could conduct stress testing and such.
Fast forward to earlier last week and I get an email from KMC asking if I would be interested in getting a final version of the chain that’s finally in production and should be available soon. Then the other day I had a box from them show up and I thought it felt a little heavy. That’s because they sent through a few extras for me to GIVE AWAY to you guys.
So, here’s how we are going to run this contest. You have TWO chances to enter. One – write in the comments “I want that chain!” with your name and actual email address so I can contact you if you win. Two – Head over to The Union’s FACEBOOK and “Like” us. Then comment “I want that chain!” on the photo of the chain that will be on the wall. It’s as easy as that. I’ll pick three winners on MONDAY, OCTOBER 10th. So please, check your email and Facebook messages that day.

Review: Time Will Tell DVD

A few months ago a trailer for a new video popped up. That’s not anything too uncommon, but when I saw it was a new video by Elliot Van Orman my interest perked up a bit. After watching the trailer I knew BMX was getting another good video to add to the collection. Yep… My phone isn’t smart. I know.

Living in the U.S generally always gives me access to some of the best of the best from around the world. It’s a location that riders from all over the world travel to, the bigger events are usually here, most of the magazines and not to mention some of the best trails, parks and street in the world. There are things we do miss out on though. One of those things would be Cooper Brownlee’s magazine, Focalpoint. Review: The Colony DVD

Over the course of the last two years, the Colony team have been traveling the world filming. They kept it all pretty hush-hush until recently for the majority of BMX which is actually pretty hard these days. When it was announced they were dropping a full-length, people seemed to be pretty excited and with the team they have these days, it’s no wonder. Colony had Sidewall send me over an advanced copy of the video to check out along with FIVE copies to GIVEAWAY. Insight: Cult X Vans Collaboration

A few days ago I got a mysterious package from FedEx. I was a little confused since I wasn’t expecting anything in particular. That was until I saw where it came from and realized they had to be the new Cult X Vans collaboration shoes. Once I got my keys out to tear the box open, I was pleasantly surprised to see both of the Atwood Mid’s, Brasco’s and the new grips with the Vans pattern. Let’s take a closer look…
