Is it time for some new shoes? We were due for a new pair and started looking around to realize that Chase Hawk has a new signature from Etnies out, which is his second signature shoe from them! Some of you might have seen his signature Marana that dropped a little while back but might not have been feeling the red colorway it came in. For this version, Etnies and Chase have gone with a clean and classic black using the Jameson MT for the style! Insight: Wethepeople – Dan Foley Signature Cadence Frame

With The Union Winter Session coming up in a little over a week, we have been receiving a bunch of packages from the sponsors for the jam with product to give away! We have received a bunch of goodies and figured it would be a good idea to give you guys a look at some of the prizes and and just a better look at a few dialed products! Product: United Bike Co. – Region Frame

Product: Subrosa – Nickel Bullen Thunderbeast Frame

This past summer, Subrosa gave Nick Bullen the well deserved bump up to the pro team after kicking a bunch of ass on the Skeleton crew for a while! To start off 2015 right, they have given Nick his own signature colorway on Scott Ditchburn’s Thunderbeast frame along with a signature Pizza tripod seat that’s in the works as well. We were digging this shiny piece of work, so we figured it would be a good time to take a closer look at the Nickel Bullen Thunderbeast! Let’s do this!

Review: Above / Below

After a long wait that felt like an eternity thanks to the anticipation, the “Above Below” video was finally released on iTunes today! This video, produced by Monster and DIG is a different approach to the traditional BMX full-length video featuring the likes of Dakota Roche, Dan Lacey, Nathan Williams, Ben Lewis, Ed Zunda and Fernando Laczko. With so much hype leading up to this one, it was hard not to hit that download video and see just what these guys have been working on with film maker, Rich Forne! After checking out the video, we decided to do a quick review for those of you still on the fence about checking this one out!

Insight: Mutant Bikes – Peguard

Some of you guys may have spotted this one on the Shadow Conspiracy Raptor Freecoaster Review we dropped a little while back and have been wondering more about just what it is. That unique “thing” spotted in that review is the Mutant Bikes Peguard that we got our hands on back in September at Interbike. This hybrid hub guard and peg combo is something we’ve been seeing pop up here and there for a few years now, but it looks like Nuno at Mutant is pretty close to finally releasing it. After running it for a while now, we decided it would be a good time to give you guys a closer look. Let’s do this!

Product: Profile Racing – Limited Edition Matte Desert Camo Colorway

We don’t see a ton of changes with the product line from Profile Racing because they’re pretty consistent on sticking with what works! But, every few months, we do get to see a new limited edition colorway from them that is always ends up real good. This time around, they have released a very limited run of these Zach Rogers inspired matte Desert Camo Mini and Elite hubs, Push stems and Spline Drive and Galaxy sprockets that are are available now! We figured with only 50 sets of hubs total and 10 of each of the stems and sprockets available, these are going to go quick so we should take a look before they’re all gone, right? Let’s check this out!

Insight: Cult X Vans Collaboration Chukka Midtop & Era Pro

There’s no denying that we have seen a lot of collaborations between brands over the years and they have all lead to some pretty cool final products. A few years back, Cult teamed up with Vans for a collaboration that produced two styles of shoes that yielded some amazing results — I still rock ’em even — and they have finally teamed back up for a second go! The shoes themselves have been available for a few weeks now, but we figured it would be a good time to take a closer look their latest collaboration with the classic Chukka Midtop and Era Pro shoes that they used for this time around!
