The Wade frame is made from full 4130 chromoly tubing with a 75-degree head tube angle, 71.5-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height and 13.75″ chainstay length. The frame features an integrated headset with removable gyro tabs, top and down tube gussets, an integrated seat post clamp, Mid bottom bracket, custom seat and chainstay bridges, 6mm thick dropouts with chain tensioners and welded on brake mounts and guides!
The Wade frame is available in 21″ top tube and Raw with Clear Coat only, with a weight of 7.6 lbs. 5.5 lbs. (see video below) As it mentions in the Instagram post, these frames are a bit more expensive at $549.99. But, you know if this frame is good enough for Morgan, it’s going to be bomb proof for everyone else!
Available through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Hoffman Bikes now or in the Hoffman Bikes webstore.
NOTE: In the video below, Morgan tells the story of the corrected weight which is NOT 7.6 lbs like it was originally reported. It also sounds like there will be a Taiwan version available later this year that is even lighter!
