Now this is pretty much every trails riders wet dream, haha. Oakley asked Mike “Hucker” Clark if he wanted to use some of their land, along with their skid loader and all their tools to build up a dream set of trails for him and his friends to ride. Obviously Mike took the opportunity and he turned that land into some serious gold. Above and below are two videos giving us a look at what was built. The top video focuses on the backstory and the build, while the second video focuses on the riding. Both kick ass, so hit play and enjoy!
“Oakley gave the keys to the Dirt Lab to BMX dirt jumper extraordinaire, Mike “Hucker” Clark, and let him create the jump line he’d only ever dreamed about. In Part 1, Hucker takes us through the journey of being presented the opportunity up to the moment it’s finally ride-ready.

“All work and no play makes BMX dirt jumper Mike “Hucker” Clark a less perpetually-happy boy. The intention for the private dirt jumps he built at Oakley HQ was to fine-tune his riding in hopes of winning his first X Games gold medal, but it’s also so that he can ride as much as possible with all his closest friends… because, at the end of the day, that’s why he started riding in the first place.
