Stevie Churchill On Stranger

March 20, 2019

Here’s some sponsor for you! It looks like Stevie Churchill has parted ways with Federal Bikes to ride for Stranger! This isn’t a complete shock since we always did see the possibility of Stevie riding for Stranger since he’s on the Primo Pro team as well and spends time with Rich Hirsch pretty regularly.

We’ve been seeing the Stranger team getting pretty stacked as of late, so we can only imagine having Stevie on the team will only push things even further. Expect to see plenty from Stevie and Stranger in 2019!

What do you think about the news? Stoked? Bummed? Did you see it coming? Let us know in the comments below!

A Nearly Vacation

March 20, 2019

Alex Donnachie had a bunch of footage from some time in Barcelona, Spain this past winter. Instead of sitting on it for the new Nearly video, he decided to put together this mix featuring Anthony Perrin, Joris Coulomb, Alex Kennedy and Austin Augie going to work on spots. Hit play and take it all in. You already know these guys delivered.

“Post Simple Session this year saw a massive fleet of riders head to Barcelona to catch some rays, spots, coupla’ loose nights and warm up for the upcoming busy period in their schedules. Alex Donnachie originally had this footage allotted for the Nearly 5 DVD but instead he decided to link it into this mix video. Needless to say with the likes of Joris Coulomb, AK, Anthony Perrin, Austin Augie and more, things heat up real fast. This is a must-see today. ”

Dirt Bros. – Sean Yarroll “Cheese” Section (1994)

March 20, 2019

It’s time for the final section from the Dirt Bros. “Cheese” video from 1994! This time around we get a look at Sean Yarroll‘s section that is packed with so many rad clips from trails, street, park and lake jumping sessions. Sean had a deep back of tricks that he put to good use for this. If you’re a mid / old school rider, you’re going to love every second of this one! Take a look!

“Sean Yarroll holds down the last rider section in Dirt Bros Cheese for a very good reason – Heavy music, heavier riding, and RAD style that could only be from the 90s. It’s no surprise that I’ve had a dozen people ask me about when we were going to finally post Yarroll’s section. Check out the video, and then click – http://www.snakebitebmx.com to see a few more photos of Sean that we wanted to share.

Hobie Doan OFF S&M Bikes

March 20, 2019

Here’s a bit of news we definitely did NOT see coming. It looks like things didn’t work out for Hobie Doan and S&M Bikes since Hobie is no longer riding for them anymore. No word on what happened, in fact neither side have made a public announcement about it, but his time on the Pro team was pretty short lived since his welcome video dropped back in August. We aren’t sure if Hobie has anything lined up, but obviously riding for the Primo Pro team leads us to believe that Stranger is a likely route since there’s been a bunch of moves happening on those teams lately. We’ll keep you posted once we know more. Until then, I guess let’s re-enjoy Hobie’s welcome video since that kicked a ton of ass.

Fit Bike Co. – Yumi Tsukuda VS The Cops

March 19, 2019

While working on his Fit Bike Co. – Yumi Tsukuda In The USA video, one of the spots lead to a battle that Yumi Tsukuda had with a rail that lead to security shutting the party down. Here’s a raw cut giving you a look at what went down!

Essential Tools For BMX

March 19, 2019

When it comes to working on a BMX bike, things couldn’t be more simplistic. Over the years, the amount of tools needed to work on a bike has reduced down to a few essentials to get the job done. You can literally build up most BMX bikes with a 6mm allen key and a 17mm socket. Although that’s two tools the majority of your bike uses, there are still a handful of tools that are necessary, but something you don’t use as often like a crescent wrench or a pedal wrench. If you want something more, check out our BMX TOOL GUIDE or the BMX MULTI TOOL GUIDE if you are on the hunt for a multi-tool that does it all.

“As a beginner riding BMX working on your bike can be a bit intimidating at first. In this video I’m here to go over how simple the tools needed for working on our bikes can really be as well as let you know which ones are absolutely essential.

Yes I forgot to mention a pump and yes I forgot to mention crank pullers, both of which are very essential!” – Brant Moore
