May 29, 2018

The crew at United have released full details on their new Incarnate frame that will be landing at BMX shops and mail-orders at the end of June!

United BMX Incarnate Frame

Here’s a look at the brand spankin’ new Incarnate frame from United BMX. This frame has a lot of little details that United can tell you all about below…

“The all new Incarnate frame. Designed to have a responsive and stiffened back end with the all-new ultra slim cast wishbone. Tested extensively through CAD aided machine work software to implement extreme force and handed to team riders to give a good battering. Shallower pitched seat tube angle to move the bottom bracket forward making the feel of the bike smaller without changing the top tube length.

13” slammed back end with thickened chain stays. Top and Down tube gussets for extra strength out the front. Relatively steep head tube angle at 75.5 to keep front-end tricks responsive. Finished in flat trans brown and flat trans smoked black.” – United BMX

United BMX Incarnate Frame

The Incarnate frame is made from full 4130 Seamless Sanko Japanese tubing that is butted and tapered throughout, with a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 70.25-degree seat tube, 8.75″ standover height, 11.75″ bottom bracket height and a 13″ chainstay length. Available in 20.8″, 21″ and 21.2″ top tube lengths.

Madera BMX – Gulf Coaster Hub Promo

May 28, 2018

Madera have released their new Gulf Coaster freecoaster hub!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTVISRdEF2s

Here’s one we’ve been waiting on. Madera have released their Gulf Coaster hub for you to get your hands on. If you’ve been wanting a Z-Coaster from Profile Racing, but couldn’t quite afford the $357+ price tag, you’re in luck. This Gulf Coaster utilizes the same internals as the Z-Coaster, but has a different shell and no customization options like the Z-Coaster does as far as colors, axle, bolts, driver and slack rings. This one comes in 36-hole, right side drive with a 14mm axle, 90-degree slack ring and black for the only color. The hub is available for $244.99 through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Madera worldwide, or direct from the Madera webstore. No word if they will have this hub available in left side drive in the future, but we would imagine that’s something that will be an option.

Either way, they’ve found some ways to make a more affordable version of the Z-Coaster hub, which is a perk! Learn more below!

“The Madera Gulf Coaster

Madera is proud to announce the release of the Gulf Coaster: an American-made coaster hub built with Profile Racing’s patented Z-Technology.

Simplified design and limited options allow for a more affordable, yet still high quality Z-style coaster. This style coaster allows you to engage and disengage the cassette within and thus have a more durable and consistent hub.

The hub is available now in a complete wheel or on its own. It comes ONLY in black with a 14mm solid axle and a 90 degree (1/4 crank) slack ring.

The hub weighs 624 grams/24.5 ounces and works with various Madera and Profile hub guards.”

Leon Ditzel Down Under

May 28, 2018

Leon Ditzel goes to work on spots in Australia and New Zealand!

Here’s a rad one giving us a look at what Leon Ditzel got into during his time in Australia and New Zealand for the past half year or so. During his stay, Leon managed to get plenty of time in stacking clips on a ton of rails, ledges and more! Here’s a look at all those clips in one spot for your viewing pleasure!

“The Chefwax team rider Leon Ditzel we had not yet on the side, which is a bit strange, because the Hessenlocal goes neat. He has just returned from Australia and New Zealand, where he enjoyed the “Work and Travel” life together with his homie Deniz Dündar for a good six months. On their return, the two of them had a video full of bangers straight from the top shelves of the engineering department that Leon performed on the streets of Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton, and we certainly do not want to withhold them. Killa!” – Freedom BMX

Bevan Cowan – 3.6.5 Episode 4

May 28, 2018

Check out this sweet edit featuring Bevan Cowan going to work on spots in Australia…

Here’s a fresh one that Poiss Barbier sent through from his “3.6.5” video series! This time around he linked up with Bevan Cowan to get out in the streets of Australia and stack a bunch of great clips. Anyone that has seen Bevan’s riding before knows that he brings a lot of style to the table, and even without pegs or a freecoaster he can hold his own on street spots! Check out all these rad clips that were filmed in a pretty short amount of filming time!

“The first time I met Bevan, at Rampfest Skatepark, where he works, we went for a little street session and straight decided to work together on a video.

Bevan is all what 3.6.5 is about. Passionate, stylish and motivated to ride BMX.
After two or three filming sessions, he sadly had to go back to see his family back home in NZ after a family member loss.

Then when he came back, my friend was at the hospital with a broken knee so I was not really into filming and we decided to use the little time we had together, to ride rather than film.

Back in France, I was sitting on these clips and even if Bevan is capable of so much more, I really wanted to use them.

We are not pros, we are humans, we have lifes and we ride BMX.

We are the 3.6.5 and here is the 4th episode.” – Poiss Barbier
