Northbrigade BMX Jam 2018

Check out what went down at the Northbrigade jam over in Germany!

It’s almost weird seeing a skatepark that doesn’t allow bike in 2018. It seems like that whole banning bikes thing doesn’t really work as well as it used to back in the day. Either way, the Northbrigade park in Cologne has slowly become bike friendly, so there was a jam thrown there to bring riders from all over Europe together for a day of riding and good times. Here’s a video Freedom BMX put together showing you all the dialed riding that went down!

“A lot of water had to flow down the Rhine before after years of abstinence a BMX-Jam took place in Cologne’s Northbrigade. The reason: The North was first completely rebuilt four years ago and then there was once a time a complete ban on BMX, which was later converted into a peg ban. In the meantime you can ride the park again with plastic pegs. And so it finally happened on 5 May 2018: riders from all over NRW, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and even Belgium and Holland had come to Cologne-Weidenpesch to jam together in bright sunshine in the Northbrigade. Of course, we were there to record the hottest tricks of the day for posterity – and a lot was on offer! Here is our video with the bangers of Bruno Hoffmann, Felix Prangenberg, Dennis Moller, Ferdi Bensch and many more.
