Scotty Cranmer – Wheel Chair to BMX Race Track In 11 Months

What a journey it has been for Scotty Cranmer! 11 months ago Scotty had his crazy accident that left him paralyzed for a little while and in a wheelchair. Since then he’s been working back toward getting his life back and getting back on the bike. We’ve seen him go from wheel chair, to standing, to walking, to getting to ride on his bike a few times already, but it looks like he’s finally getting back on his bike to ride the race track he got his start on! Hit play and take a ride with Scotty! So stoked on this! It’s only a matter of time before he’s throwing down on the ramps again.

“Back on the bike again and this week the challenge that I made for myself it’s to ride my BMX bike around the race track behind my bike shop! I have been racing there since I was eight years old and I am so excited to still be able to get on the bike and give it a try! I knew it wasn’t going to be easy but nothing has been in the last year but I am ready to give it my best shot! I love BMX and I’m so excited to bring you all along on my journey getting back to my BMX life!” – Scotty Cranmer

Here’s one you guys might want to check out! Viceland dropped their latest “Epicly Later’d” on September 20th and it features Spike Jonze! This one goes over the history of Spike from how he got his start (and his name) way back in the day at the bike shop, how he got into shooting BMX, which lead to skateboarding, which lead to making music videos, movies and so much more! It’s pretty amazing to see what Spike has accomplished in his life and a lot of it started out on a BMX bike! Shout out to Paul Covey over at Snakebite for sending this over!
