Rest In Peace, Jason Brown

BMX has lost another talented rider… Rest In Peace, Jason Brown.

It’s always a bummer to wake up and hear the news that another BMX rider that left their mark on the history of our sport has passed away. We caught wind that Jason Brown had decided to take his own life the other day. Jason was a professional flatland rider that rode for brands like 2 Hip, GT and Redline over the years and made appearances in the X Games throughout the 90’s. There’s a few words from Effraim over on Flat Matters and Brian Tunney put together a piece on the X Games website. Jason was 46 when he passed.

There have been a few riders that we’ve lost to suicide over the past few years and losing just one is far too many. Depression, anxiety, stress and more can lead people down a very dark road. I’ve been there and many, many, many others have battled with mental illness. If you’re having thoughts of suicide or just having a hard time dealing with life, reach out to people… As many people as you can. Family, friends, drop a few lines on social media… Somebody will be there to help. If you don’t have those, there are a number of different suicide hotlines that are there for you, too. Don’t let it win… Live to ride another day.

Keep It Rolling – “440 Volts” Trailer

The Keep It Rolling crew are working on their second full-length video that they’re calling “440 Volts“. This video will be a mix of BMX and skate footage that should end up being pretty solid. It’s still a little ways out, but here’s a taste of what to expect next spring.

The latest episode of Eddie Cuellar‘s Edventures series for the Common Crew has arrived. Here’s a look at his Burning Daylight video that is packed full of clips he stacked at a few different skateparks, a bunch of street spots and ditches. Shadow Conspiracy & Subrosa World Tour – Woodward Week 3

A few weeks back some of The Shadow Conspiracy and Subrosa team were out at Woodward East riding and hanging out with the campers. While they were there, they got busy stacking clips and ended up with a ton of dialed clips for your viewing pleasure. Check it out!

Always something special when you see the pro guys come out and do it for the kids! Mongoose Jam 2017 – Team Illingworth

The amazing videos from this years Mongoose Jam continue to surface! This time around we get a look at what Greg Illingworth‘s team consisting of Van Homan, Murray Loubser and camper Jack Seeley with filmer Kevin Schnider cooked up! Greg went hard on the coaching to push these guys and they ended up coming through with a ton of amazing riding and a good vibe.
