With the X Games going down in California this weekend, it’s always interesting to see how guys like Kevin Peraza get ready for the big show. Here’s a fresh video he dropped on his Youtube channel where we get a little look at the training, riding and more that he gets into to prepare. This is all in Spanish, but there are English subtitles. Fortunately BMX is a pretty universal language so it’s easy to see the work he puts in. This is just the first episode, so expect to see more of this coming up.

The X Games are going off in Ventura this weekend and things are already heating up!
We’re about to get a look at the “new” X Games this weekend in Ventura now that ESPN doesn’t own it anymore. Things started heating up as the first BMX street practice went down, giving us a sample of what’s to come from all the guys that got the invite. Hit play and expect to see plenty more footage pouring in the next week or so.
“X Games is back in sunny (and not hot, thankfully) Ventura, California. We’ll be out here doing what we can and first things first…first street practice. Garrett sums up the course well, but it’s pretty tight/congested with obstacles so dudes definitely took a bit longer than usual to get some lines down. George Galyo has a new one for The Shadow Conspiracy and Subrosa!
We’re always stoked to check out some new footage from George Galyo. As some of you know, George still shreds despite having cerebral palsy restricting the right side of his body. In this new video for The Shadow Conspiracy and Subrosa George talks a little bit about what it is and how it affects him, along with plenty of great riding to enjoy. Take a look!
“Subrosa and Shadow Conspiracy rider George Galyo was born with the physical disorder Cerebral Palsy, however he continues to push the envelope on what can be done on a BMX bike.
Cerebral Palsy, or CP for short, is a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture, caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the brain before, during or shortly after birth. CP can take many different forms and effect each person a little bit differently.
There is no cure for CP, however, physical therapy and exercise can help to minimize some of the symptoms. George is essentially paralyzed on the right side of his body, and has used BMX to not only push through his physical limitations, but to show the world that passion, determination and a positive mental attitude can inspire others to take it to the next level!

Turner Phaup getting it done for Cult!
Here’s a fresh one featuring young gun Turner Phaup putting in work street spots out East for Cult. We weren’t super familiar with Turner, but it’s easy to see why Cult picked him up. If you’re a fan of jibby riding, this is definitely for you.
