Scotty Cranmer – Kitchen Skatepark Contest
This past weekend Scotty Cranmer, Matty Cranmer and Big Boy took a trip out to South Bend, Indiana for The Kitchen Skatepark Contest that Brett Banasiewicz threw to help raise money for Scotty. Here’s a look at what the guys got into, along with highlights from the contest!
“We can check off another road trip down in the books. My little brother Matty, Big Boy and myself drove 12 hours down to South Bend Indiana to head out to the kitchen skatepark for a crazy BMX contest. Big Boy drove thru the night and to my surprise we survived. Today is day one of the contest, and we have beginner, intermediate, expert, and pro. Expert finals, Girls finals, and pro finals are tomorrow. We had a one shot contest, and Big Boy might have lost the champion title. Brett came top with a new flair challenge. I ate some pasta for a sick clip, and got completely soaked by a water bottle. We had so much fun and this is what BMX riding is all about.” – Scotty Cranmer
Denver BMX – Smoking Bowl Jam 2017
To celebrate 4/20 (Well, 4/22) in Denver, there was a Bowl Jam at the Discover Park for everyone to get together and enjoy the sunshine, pizza and session. We would assume some of the legal weed as well, but that was a given with the title of the video, right? Hit that play button to check out what went down! Stick around until the end because the riding gets progressively gnarlier as it goes on.
“GrindWheel BMX hosted another amazing jam. This time at Discovery Park in Wheat Ridge, Co. I brought my camera and the dudes threw down! Enjoy!!

Shadow Conspiracy – Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket
Let’s take a look at the new Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket from The Shadow Conspiracy!
Is it time for a new BMX Sprocket? Are you looking for a full guard sprocket, but you want something that has plastic for grinds? Then The Shadow Conspiracy‘s Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket might just be what you are looking for. This sprocket is made from 5mm thick 6061-T6 alloy with The Shadow Conspiracy logos and a 15/16″ bore (19mm and 22mm adaptors included) and 1/8″ teeth. The Nylon guard comes with 4 bolts to help hold it in place no matter the abuse you throw and so you can rotate it as it wears. The guard is shaped so you can easily fit a Shadow Interlock Chain without it rubbing, as well since that’s an issue people have run into with full guard sprockets. You can also find a few embossed logos on the guard as well.
The Sabotage Full Guard Sprocket is available in 25-tooth only with black, Polar Pop blue, raw, Ignite, Crimson and Livid purple for $39.99 with a weight of 5.3 oz. through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Shadow Conspiracy worldwide. “ As the old saying goes: ‘What’s old is new again’. The Sabotage Sprocket is a tribute to an old idea, based on old school sprocket/ guard combos, but with new school tech and materials. The high-impact, low-friction plastic guard is paired with a solid 5mm alloy sprocket by 4 bolts. The ultimate in protection for your sprocket and chain, we made the spacing between the guard and the teeth to fit a Shadow Conspiracy Supreme and Interlock chains, which most guards don’t do.” – The Shadow Conspiracy
“Head back in time as Shadow rider Eric Bahlman pays homage to the old school by putting his new Shadow Sabotage plastic guard sprocket to the ultimate test.
