UK Vert Series 2017 – Round 1 – Beast Rampz Manchester

The other day we got a look at what went down during the UK Park Series 2017 stop at Unit 360, now we get a look at what went down during the first round of the UK Vert Series 2017 that took over that Beast Rampz for a day of big airs and plenty of good times. We don’t see a ton of vert footage these days, so it’s pretty awesome seeing this series rolling along on its 5th year with a solid turnout of riders willing to drop in. This event is rad because all the proceeds go directly to the park that’s hosting the event.

Greg Illingworth – Max & Flats In Australia

Greg Illingworth just dropped a new video on his Youtube channel from his trip down to Australia for the Vans BMX Pro Cup stop in Sydney. This starts out with a few random clips from cruising around, but about mid way through it gets to riding and some of the good times that were had on the course, despite a bit of rain and wind. Despite the weather not quite cooperating, it looks like Greg had a real good time on his trip. Take a peek!

The Trip released their “Trip Tape” full-length video the other week and it turned out damn good! As you could imagine, the team ended up having a TON of leftover footage from scraps to crashes and random clips they collected on and off their bikes. They’ve decided to put the footage together instead of letting it go to waste. First up, we get a little over 11 minutes of raw footage featuring Augie Simoncini! Even though this is B-Roll, there’s still a ton of gold to take in, so hit that play button and take it all in!

Fit Bike Co. – “Savages” Behind the Scenes

Last week we got a look at the Savages video from Fit Bike Co. that featured Matt Nordstrom, Ethan Corriere and Justin Spriet putting their signature Savage frames to good use. Today, we get a look at just about 10 minutes of raw clips from 2nd angles to scraps that didn’t make the cut, crashes, random non-riding clips and more. This is pretty interesting to watch since these guys put a lot of time into stacking clips for the video!

Sunday Bikes – Mark Burnett “Grow Up” Section

Sunday Bikes coming through with another banger of a section from their “Grow Up” DVD for your viewing pleasure. This time around we get Mark Burnett‘s section that’s filled with some serious rail and ledges savagery (is that even a word?) that will blow your mind. Mark is the definition of a grind technician, but he’s also not scared to huck a 540 off a huge drop, either. “Shooting with Mark Burnett is a treat. As soon as Mark says he wants to film something, three things are already assumed: it’ll be really really hard, he’ll pull it, and it’ll be perfect.

This young man is unbelievably confident on his bike and will casually fire out hyper-elaborate tech combos and the most dangerous and intimidating stunts without breaking a sweat. Mark has this extraordinary ability to set aside any fear and lingering doubts and fully commit to every go. I guess it’s easy to be confident when you’re as comfortable on your bike as Mark clearly is.

It’s not hard to see how Mark rides at such a high level – his enthusiasm for riding is virtually unmatched. Mark shrugs off the most brutal wrecks and keeps going until he lands it or physically can’t continue.

Mark’s natural ability, boundless energy, unstoppable drive, and sheer love of riding make him the ultimate video part filming machine. Montana Ricky – My Pursuit of Happiness

The weekly BMX videos from Montana Ricky have tapered off a bit, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been out riding. Here’s his latest video giving us a look at what he has been getting into now that the temps on the East Coast have been looking up. It also looks like he’s been playing around with the front brake setup, which just allows Ricky to get event more creative than he already is. Get on that play button and take it all in!
