More From Vans BMX Pro Cup – Australia Qualifiers

Here’s a little more action from the Vans BMX Pro Cup qualifier down in Australia! This is the open qualifier for the locals, plus a few pros that didn’t get pre-qualified. Next weekend we’ll see all of the pros and qualified riders go to work in Sydney and it’s bound to be wild if this is what went down in the qualifiers. Check it out!

Zach Newman – Frostbike Cruising

We had a feeling Zach Newman would be putting out a video from his trip up north for Frostbike the other weekend. The annual tradeshow at QBP was once again far from frosty with some sunny skies and 60+ degree temperatures, which is rare for February (It was -20 one year during Frostbike for example). Zach cruised through the show then made sure he got plenty of time cruising a few spots during his stay. Here’s a look at what he got into! Looks like it was a good time minus a run in with the cops.

Colin Varanyak – BMX In Tallin & Barcelona

There has been no shortage of footage of Colin Varanyak since he fired up his Youtube channel a little while back. Here’s a video he put together of all the riding footage he collected on his camera between Tallin, Estonia for Simple Session and then Barcelona, Spain where he spent a few weeks exploring after the time in Estonia. As always, Colin comes through with some great riding on everything he rode from ramps to rails, waterslides and more! Hit play and take it all in!

Watch This Spine Mini Ramp Get Built – Time Lapse

Have you ever wanted to see a how a proper ramp is built? Here’s a timelapse of a massive mini ramp with a spine being built up piece by piece. Besides all of the transitions being pre-built before this video started, it pretty much covers every piece of wood and screw that went into finishing it off for the locals at the skatepark to get to using it! This thing looks absolutely amazing to ride. Hit play and take this all in… It’s almost mesmerizing and hard to stop watching.

Vans BMX Pro Cup – Australia Qualifier Highlights

It didn’t take long for some footage from the Vans BMX Pro Cup qualifying stop in Australia to surface! Here’s a video Ryan Guettler put together from the contest giving you a look at some of the action that went down and a little of the fun off the bikes, too. Despite a little rain, it looks like the contest went off smooth and there was plenty of amazing riding to take in! We have a feeling this is just the first of a couple videos that will surface from this one, too.

Monster Energy – Toyota BMX Triple Challenge Finals – Atlanta

The final stop of the Monster Energy Toyota BMX Triple Challenge made its way to Atlanta, Georgia! This stop was different because in the previous stops the contest was on dirt jumps outside. This stop was held on box jumps at an indoor arena. Based off the riding though, that didn’t keep the guys from absolutely CRUSHING the place with some heavy tricks from flips, whips, spins and more. Check out what went down!

Sneak Peek: Wethepeople – 22″ Tires

If you’re into 22″ bikes, we have some good news. The guys at QBMX dropped a sneak preview of a new 22″ BMX tire that Wethepeople will be releasing soon. Not much for information on the tire yet, but we have a feeling that there will be more for a 22″ bike beyond just the tires coming from Wethepeople. I mean, why would they only release a 22″ tire? We’ve been seeing more brands release 22″ products since the guys at Faction kicked things off a few years ago, and it seems like things are starting to pick up for that particular size of BMX bike. We’ll keep you posted once we hear more about these tires from Wethepeoeple. We can’t imagine it’ll be too long if they were down to let this drop online!
