Profile Racing – Tech Tip: How Many Teeth Do You Need?

February 17, 2017

Profile Racing BMX Sprockets

Since the introduction of the 9-tooth driver way back in 2003, we’ve seen the freestyle side of BMX adopt the 25-9 gear ratio as a bit of the standard, but there are still plenty of options and combinations that can change the way your bike feels, how fast you can go and more. Profile Racing released their latest “Tech Tip” that gives you some insight into how the gearing works and what a few of their riders run for combinations. You can check it all out over on the Profile Racing website — How Many Teeth Do You Need?

What combination do you run on your bike and why? Let us know in the comments below! We would love to hear what you have to say on the subject!

Crazy Incline Club Session

February 16, 2017

There’s always something crazy going down at the Incline Club…

Scotty Cranmer coming through with a video from a post-snow storm private session at the Incline Club with Matty Cranmer, Big Boy, Dom Simoncini, Cory Berglar, Brooklyn, Mike Shimak and Andrew Simoncini. Hit play to watch these guys go section to section in the park throwing down some real good riding all along the way. It’s safe to say things got pretty heated. Check it!

“So it was incredibly cold outside that day and it snowed a bit. Enough to not allow us to ride outside but not enough to do anything cool with. I told BIG BOY to round up the boys so we could have just a session at the skatepark something that we haven’t done in a while. It started out nice and light then out of no where Big Boy turned the heat up after crashing over and over again and getting mad resorting to an angry fake front flip. We hit BK’s bowl, rode the street section, and then made our way into the big bowl session. Tons of crashes, tail whips, backflips, flairs, front flips, and just good times. I even got a trick today as well. Comment below and let us know what you thought about this session who had your favorite trick.” – Scotty Cranmer
