Maybe we’re just imagining things, but it seems like we haven’t posted a BMX video from Barcelona in a good week or two. We’re likely imagining things, but yeah! Regardless, The Joint BMX crew recently spent some time soaking in the sun and spots in the massive city, stacking clips all along the way. Here’s a rad video they put together from the trip giving you a good look at what they got into during their stay. As expected, Barcelona didn’t disappoint and these guys ended up with a real solid video for your viewing pleasure. Take a look!

Scotty Cranmer – Vans US Open: Day 7

If you caught Scotty Cranmer‘s video that he dropped yesterday, Scotty Cranmer – Vans US Open: Day 6, you would have saw that Big Boy was sending a crazy front flip off a drop onto the beach that didn’t quite work out. Well, he decided to go back at it again and see if he could make it happen. Hit play to see what went down!

“Day 7 of our California trip was an off day for competition but Big Boy took on his own challenge and decided he was going to battle it out with a new trick the front flip drop in! After coming really close the day before, his confidence was sky high but still he had a couple things he wanted to change to prepare for the front flip. We went to his favorite breakfast place then headed over to the beach to relax and become one with the beach/front flip. After that we took the ride over to the location of the trick. Big Boy got straight to business and started getting mentally ready for the challenge he tried the front flip and came close but he slid out on the sand so w decided to dig in a little deeper to the harder dirt so he can ride away easier. But what we didn’t realize was that the harder the ground is the harder the fall was going to be… Big Boy came charging the drop in and didn’t get the best jump but it was too late for turning back so he tried his best and landed directly on his butt! It was rough! He was making crazy noises and he was in a lot of pain for a few minutes and he was nervous that he had pooped his pants! After using a port o potty he decided he was all good and wanted to try it again! I said NO WAY and we both decided to wait another day! We will see if Big Boy can finally settle the score soon enough!”

Matt Cordova Wins Van Doren Invitational 2016

The Van Doren Invitational finals went down today with some of BMX’s most stylish and craziest ramp riders going to work on the bowl in Huntington Beach. Once the dust settled, Matt Cordova landed himself the top spot with Clint Reynolds and Dylan Lewis rounding out the top 3! Matt absolutely CRUSHED the course with his big lines, super clicked tricks and style for miles. Above is a look at Matt’s riding footage, with Clint and Dylan’s before courtesy of Ride BMX. Expect to see plenty more footage popping up tomorrow!

Clint Reynolds took 2nd place with his smooth lines and some creativity like the backwards bars 360 over the spine!

Dylan Lewis took 3rd place with his insanely high airs and big, stylish tricks. We’ve been big fans of Dylan for a little while now and it’s safe to say he finally put himself on a lot of peoples radars with his riding this weekend. Stoked for Dylan!

NAFFITA BMX – Pista De Skate

Kaíque Nogueira sent through the latest from the NAFFITA BMX crew down in Brazil. This time we get a solid mix from one of their local skateparks where they all went to work putting the rails and ledges to good use. This was all filmed on the VX, so the footage is a little rough around the edges, but the riding definitely makes up for it. Take a look!

Dave Mahoney – Road To Recovery

It has been a while since we’ve seen a BMX video out of Dave Mahoney. It turns out that he’s had a string of injuries that have been keeping him on his bike. Luckily, he finally caught a break and has been getting back into the swing of things. Here’s a bunch of clips from some of his sessions so far, at a bunch of different skateparks!
