“Rob Ridge is hands down the best technical lip trick BMX rider that has ever lived.
He is a living legend and has been for longer than I have ridden BMX.
So, let’s talk BMX and anything else that comes up with Rob Ridge!” – Brant Moore
It has been a fairly slow day for BMX videos today, but this completely makes up for it! Rob Ridge just dropped a brand new video that we didn’t see coming and it’s an absolute banger. As always, Rob comes through with the most amazing technical ramp riding, with crazy flatland / ramp riding hybrid tricks with no shortage of front brake magic! This is such a good watch from start to finish with clips from a ton of different parks. Hit that play button because BMX needs more of this!
“When you have been around long enough to see things come & go, and come back again. Putting 2 fingers up to being talked into old age an unapologetic celebration of influences & styles from an ever distant era blended into….well, what we have here. Laid onto a classic Gary Numan track, headbands, bright colours, the odd trippy video effect. Hopefully this captures some of what it was like to grow up & never lose sight of the fun, energy & excitement of the 80s. Enjoy the (ridiculous) show !” – Rob Ridge
It’s always an amazing day when Rob Ridge drops a new edit!
Whenever Rob Ridge drops a new edit, we almost have to mentally prepare ourselves for the madness we are about to witness. Rob is a lip trick GOD on a BMX bike and he has the most endless bag of tricks that make for the craziest combos. As expected, he’s still riding a Standard with front and back brakes, four pegs and probably some sort of deal with the devil. Hit play to check out some of his latest clips that he’s been getting in at different skateparks, a backyard ramp or two and more! Rob crushed it again, as expected!
“Still (yet) more technical lip trick ramp riding.” – Rob Ridge
The other week Rob Ridge put out his Might Be Something After All video that was packed full of amazing riding from Rob’s creative, unique and original approach to riding a BMX bike. It turns out that wasn’t all he had for clips in the file. Here’s three and a half minutes of leftovers that he didn’t use for the original video that still needed a home. These might be leftovers, but they’re nothing short of damn good. Check it!
“Unused clips from the edit “Might be something after all”” – Rob Ridge
It’s always a good day when Rob Ridge drops a new video! Although his skatepark closed last year, it looks like that didn’t keep him from hitting up a bunch of other skateparks to stack some clips! As always, Rob mixes his flatland riding with insane lip tricks on ramps, making for riding that is always amazing and original! Hit play because this is too damn good to miss!
“Highlights from riding sessions throughout the first half of 2017.”
Rob Ridge coming through with 7 minutes of pure goodness for your viewing pleasure! This new video is filled with clips of him absolutely slaying a bunch of different skateparks over in the UK, along with a ton of footage from the final sessions and tear down of his skatepark, The Trick Factory, and more. As always, Rob comes through with some incredible front brake combos and freecoaster action that will leave you wondering just how the hell he does what he does on a bike. It’s also safe to say he’s not afraid of heights and has a lot of confidence w in his riding considering he’s definitely getting risky in a number of these.
Rob Ridge and a few friends decided to play with fire before The Trick Factory closed its doors earlier this year. The crew decided to add a little heat to the party and hooked up a propane tank to the coping of the spine ramp so it had a constant flow of fire coming out. If that wasn’t enough fun, they also decided to add in some fireworks for good measure. Here’s a look at what went down! This looks like it was a good time to us!!
