It’s always rad seeing some dialed ramp riding these days to take a quick break from all the street videos. Here’s a new one from Anton Philippov’s session at his local skatepark where he threw down a bunch of dialed riding from lip tricks on the quarters to air tricks over the box jump. Anton has a dialed bag of tricks and this BMX video is well worth a look.

King Of Dirt – Mobile Game

If you’re looking for another BMX Game to play on your mobile phone, then you’re in luck. This morning we received an email from the latest game to pop up on the Google Play store called “King of Dirt”. The game features BMX, mountain bikes and… scooters. Ironically it doesn’t appear that there are much for courses that are actually dirt, but they do look pretty interesting setups from courses built out of street obstacles to riding spots on skyscraper cranes. King of Dirt allows you to play in first person or third person, they have an online competition and it sounds like you will be able to play games of B-I-K-E in the near future. They have 20+ tricks and 6 styles of bikes… Well, I should say 5 styles of bikes and 1 scooter… That you can customize to your liking.
You can check out more previews and information on the Google Play store. Do you have an iPhone and need it for iOS? Unfortunately you’re going to have to wait a little longer because the iOS version is still being developed.
You can also check out more photos and video samples from the game of their Instagram as well.

It seems fairly straight forward, but we’re still a little confused on just how it all will go down. Either way, it should be interesting.
“The world’s best BMX and skate athletes will throw down their biggest tricks this July at Rice-Eccles Stadium.”

Oakley – From The Ground Up with Mike “Hucker” Clark
Now this is pretty much every trails riders wet dream, haha. Oakley asked Mike “Hucker” Clark if he wanted to use some of their land, along with their skid loader and all their tools to build up a dream set of trails for him and his friends to ride. Obviously Mike took the opportunity and he turned that land into some serious gold. Above and below are two videos giving us a look at what was built. The top video focuses on the backstory and the build, while the second video focuses on the riding. Both kick ass, so hit play and enjoy!
“Oakley gave the keys to the Dirt Lab to BMX dirt jumper extraordinaire, Mike “Hucker” Clark, and let him create the jump line he’d only ever dreamed about. In Part 1, Hucker takes us through the journey of being presented the opportunity up to the moment it’s finally ride-ready.
Music: “Fading Fire” by William Ryan Fritch (Electric-Life.org)
“All work and no play makes BMX dirt jumper Mike “Hucker” Clark a less perpetually-happy boy. The intention for the private dirt jumps he built at Oakley HQ was to fine-tune his riding in hopes of winning his first X Games gold medal, but it’s also so that he can ride as much as possible with all his closest friends… because, at the end of the day, that’s why he started riding in the first place.
