As you should know by now, some of the best contest ramp setups and even some parks and places like Woodward are designed by the one and only Nate Wessel. The crew over at Simple Session caught up with Nate to talk about designing the courses and the city of Tallinn, Estonia as a whole in this new video. Take a peek! You better believe Nate is cooking up something awesome for Simple Session 16, too!

What are you doing April 2nd and 3rd? If you’re near Lille, France, you should be planning to attend the Wild Night Contest! Above is the trailer giving you a look at what you can expect. This is definitely going to be more than just a BMX contest, but it should be a good time. Check out the Facebook Event Page for more details.
“The contest, which is the second biggest contest in France in terms of prize money, will gather 10 of the world’s best professional riders, including Brock Horneman (AU), Dawid Godziek (PL), Daniel Wedeimejer (NL), and Jean-Baptiste Peytavit (FR), and 2 amateur riders we selected through a video contest. The event will take place on April 2nd at la Halle de Glisse (Lille), one of France’s largest covered skatepark.
Various urban performers and artists will also present their art during the contest : a rap band, a dance group, skateboard riders, rollerblades riders, etc.
The event will then be followed by the Magazine Club, a famous club in Lille, with a hip-hop night.”

Max Gaertig at Mauritius
Watching this quick video from Max Gaertig might leave you wondering just who built this skatepark because it’s hard to imagine it was by somebody that rides or skates, haha. But, once you realize Mauritius is a small island out in the middle of the ocean near South Africa, it makes a little more sense. Watch as Max enjoys his vacation and throws down a few tricks at the park! Can’t ever go wrong with a BMX video from Max Gaertig.
“so looks the perfect vacation? When Max Gaertig was with his girlfriend Nancy to Mauritius, stood side zip Linen over canyons, Safari tours, excursions with pedalos and speedboats and (dolphin) swimming and snorkeling in the Indian Ocean several solo sessions in local concrete parking on the program. Here are a few smartphone clips, he has filmed there.” – Freedom BMX

Moomba BMX Jam 2016
Although the ramps and rails setup weren’t the craziest thing, it didn’t keep the guys from throwing down at the Moomba BMX Jam down in Australia! Check out highlights from the bunnyhop jam, box jump, biggest air, rail jam and finals in the video above! Great riding and it looks like it drew a real big crowd.
“Moomba BMX Jam is back for 2016!
Held in the centre of Melbourne’s Moomba Festival, the BMX jam attracts a huge crowd to push the riders to the next level while having fun jamming with their mates. From huge airs to massive rails, the jam gave all riders with different skill sets and abilities the time to shine.

Chad Kerley Destroys UCI
John Hicks has been on it with the raw cut BMX videos these past few days. Here’s another one he just uploaded featuring a bunch of footage from a session Chad Kerley caught at UCI out in California. Raw, simple and loaded with heat. Take a look.
