Daniel Sandoval Off Vans

It looks like Vans and Daniel Sandoval have parted ways. Not sure as to what lead to that decision, but based off Daniel’s post on Instagram is sounds like he might just have a new opportunity on the horizon. If he doesn’t we don’t doubt that it won’t be long before he gets a few offers. Daniel is an absolute shredder and 2016 will be a busy one between contests like the X-Games, traveling and filming.

This hub starts out with a 36-hole CNC machined 6061 aluminum shell with two sealed bearings, a heat-treated chromoly 14mm male axle with an 8mm internal hex, a 9-tooth chromoly driver with ceramic bushings, an alloy cone and two threaded axle nuts and alloy 14mm nuts to keep everything tight.

The VX2 uses the Switch Drive System, which allows this hub to be right or left side drive by simply switching the pawls on the driver. Sneak Peek: Proper Bike Co. – BQR Tripod BMX Seat

Due for a new BMX Seat? Here’s a little sneak peek at the new Tripod seat that Proper Bike Co. are working with their team rider Josh James AKA Boqer123 that will be hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Proper in about two weeks. It sounds like the seat will be available in two colors (no word on the 2nd) and it appears to be a leather seat with a stitched “BQR” logo and stitched side tag. All in all, it looks like a real clean seat to us.

Have you ever looked at a BMX part and wondered how they do certain things? Have you ever seen the term “laser etched” and tried to imagine how they do it? Well, if you imagined a big laser blasting the parts, you would be pretty far off. Luckily, Profile Racing posted up this video showing how they laser etch the “Profile Racing” logo on one of their Z-Coaster hubs! Pretty cool if we may say although it’s not quite as crazy as we expected.
