Spot Check – Adrenaline Alley Corby Skatepark

November 18, 2015

Ride UK released this new BMX video giving us a look at Adrenaline Alley Skatepark in Corby with riding from a few local pros that call the place home. Excellent riding, clean film work and it’ll definitely make you wish you lived closer to that place. We didn’t know there are trails or an outdoor plaza at that place either… I guess we don’t see much footage from those places pop up. Either way, this kicks ass, so hit play and enjoy!

Crucial BMX – The Yard Jam 2015

September 21, 2015

Just spotted a little more footage from The Yard Jam over on Can You Dig It! This time around we get a video that Crucial BMX put together that gives us a look at a bunch of the riding that went down throughout the day. Take a look!

“Bob Manchester’s The Yard Jam is unlike any other competition, its one of the rare occasions when you can see jaw-dropping BMX as normal riders send themselves over 25ft doubles, down a vertigo-giving roll-in and out-of a Hoffman Bikes High Air Quarter Pipe!

I hope we don’t go two years until the next event as BMX needs more insanity like this!

Thanks to Bob and the Manchester Family for putting this on, it was a brilliant day.

Sorry if you didn’t get a name tag in the video, couldn’t remember everyone. Here are the people i knew:

Bob Manchester
Kaz Campbell (WRONG PERSON TAGGED ON VIDEO – SORRY!)
Damo Wilkinson
Declan Brooks
Alfie Lovell
Scott Turner
Del Shepherd
Danny Taylor (for driving)
+ Woodyard Locals and more….

Song: Harlem – Tila and Me”

Work In Progress – Bob Manchester: Skateparks And Two Smoking Barrels

September 2, 2015

For the latest episode of Bob Manchester‘s “Work In Progress” series, he takes a break from the trails to spend some time cruising skateparks and shooting guns with the one and old Ben Hennon! As you can imagine, both of these guys brought tons of style to the table making for one damn good BMX video. Take a look!

“With Bob’s yard now taking shape for his jam, we decided it was time for a little more down time… So we scooted off t’up North for a weekend with the man himself who actually sung Bob’s praises to Hoffman Bikes in the first place. Mr. Ben Hennon, globally renowned for his DGAF attitude, huge tricks and two crazy dogs, was kind enough to host Bob for a long weekend of nothing but bikes and good times. This series proudly supported by Hoffman Bikes, Crucial BMX and Stay Strong Clothing.” – Epic TV

If Money Were No Object, Would You Get Out And Ride?

July 31, 2015

Mike King put together an interesting video that asks a question that I’d be willing to bet a lot of you haven’t actually considered despite it being a pretty fair question…

“What would you do if money were no object? What would you do with your life, how would you spend your time, what would you you get up to? Would you be out on your bike at every opportunity?”

The video above features Bob Manchester and Ollie Shields who both have had videos showing us what they do for a living outside of BMX recently, which Mike produced. But it kind of goes to show that these two guys are working to support their habit of BMX.

I’d be willing to bet a lot of you, if you’re older working full-time, have a family or any of the countless adult responsibilities that keep you off your bike, would find more time to ride if you did have the money to keep you from working all the time.

… Man, how good would that be? A life of riding without having to work? We’re not talking being a pro rider because that is actually a lot of work with a lot of responsibilities and obligations. We’re just talking you have enough money to ride and do whatever you want without obligations… Talk about living the dream. It seems almost hard to explain because it’s such an unrealistic thought….

Let’s talk about this… Leave some thoughts in the comments!
