James Meliota – 4th Collection

January 3, 2016

We’re always pumped when James Meliota sends through a new BMX video. The 4th Collection video in the past twelve months features a ton of riding of James cruising and jibbing around Maine and the East coast, along with a few guest clips from riders all around the world, for your viewing pleasure. This one also has some music produced by James in it, which goes really well with this video. If you’re into cassette tapes, you can grab yourself a free tape by hitting James up! Details below! Hit play and let this one suck you in!

“Primarily filmed across the state of Maine, but also featuring spots from the East Coast and as far down as Washington, D.C. A big number of these spots were found during the exploration (via 300,000 miles driven, 1999 Tahoe) of Maine’s many small but rich gem towns speckled across the state from Sanford, to Skowhegan, and up the coastline to Bar Harbor. Upon visiting some of these places you can identify how the town was envisioned from its inception by discovering the mills, villages, reservoirs, dams, and street layout within its purposely chosen location. When your rolling through the towns there is feeling like your in a place that many have forgotten about or looked over a long time ago. To me, this is one of the gifts that comes naturally with riding bmx and looking for new spots to ride. Every little nook and cranny becomes important to explore and all of the sudden you realize how much bigger your world becomes.
Filming: Primarily Collin Mazet with additional filming from Kyle Connolly, Illes Estes, Thearon Svay, Josiah Webber, Punlieu Tang, Jordan Murphy.
Equipment: Iphone 6 for almost all long lense and moving lines as well as a handful of Canon T3i + Opteka fisheye shots.
Movements: 90EAST and ACCENT
Friends section in order of appearance: Illes Estes, Llord Leopold (Croatia), Webster Jake, Kyle Connolly, Tim Packard, Josiah Webber (Taiwan), Allen Toun, Dombai Andras (Hungary), Sebastien Babineau (Canada), Thearon Svay, Lino Gonzalez, Umi Asano (Tokyo), Byron Dill, Aaron Zwaal (Netherlands), Justin Dickinson, Jeff B.
Self produced “Breakwater” track (3:48) and 4th Collection Mixtape: Please send an email to accentcollaboration@gmail.com for your free tape with featured tracks from the video as well as bonus beats on side B. I will be working on an LP to release a handful of music in the future to soundcloud, band camp, etc so stay tuned in and thanks for listening/watching.

Vital First – Bernat Via

January 3, 2016

More BMX Videos

It’s always rad seeing a BMX video where the rider isn’t riding just one thing. In a world dominated by street videos, it’s always good to see a mix of riding from street, skateparks and trails. Bernat Via is clearly one rider that loves riding anything he comes across and he does it extremely well. Check out this new video showing you just what he’s capable of!

“You gotta respect a dude that rides everything. Bernat is a young shredder from Spain who kicks ass at every discipline of riding. Watch him bomb rails, flow through dirt jumps, and get technical at a few parks. Take notice!

Harry Main Off Coyote Sports

January 3, 2016

harry-main-off-coyote-sports

It looks like Harry Main is clearing house with his sponsors for 2016. It was announced the other day that he had left Hyper Bicycles and Snafu, now today he announced that he has parted ways with Coyote Sports, which isn’t a complete shock since they’re the U.K distributor for Hyper Bicycles and Snafu. That leaves Monster Energy, Skullcandy, Vans and his clothing brand The Wandering. If I remember right, Harry mentioned in one of his recent Youtube videos that he’s no longer being supported by Vans either, but he’s still listed on their website at the moment. So, the question is… Who has he decided to ride for in 2016? Still no word on that one as of yet.

“So today I announce : I NO LONGER RIDE FOR COYOTE SPORTS !
Want to personally thanks Iain & Diane over at COYOTE for being absolutely awesome people, outside of the deal they were and still are my good friends and wish coyote sports all the best over the next years! Thanks for all the help guys!
