The Wethepeople team recently spent some time cruising along the east coast hitting up shops and skateparks along the way. One of the stops was at Wooden Wheels in Newark, Delaware where the crew met up with some of the locals to hang out and catch a session at the skatepark down the road. Our friend and photographer, Brandon Bermudez, was there with his camera snapping photos throughout the visit. We posted up a new photogallery with a few photos from the session for you to check out!

“Business 2” Trailer

The Business BMX crew up in Canada have been busy stacking clips for the “Business 2” DVD for the better part of FOUR YEARS and it looks like they’ve finally wrapped things up! This video looks like it’s going to kick a whole lot of ass from the riding the film work, so get stoked!

“This is the trailer for our full length which we’ve been working hard on for 4 years. Featuring our large BMX scene in the maritimes, countless riders have put an incredible amount of work into this and the end product is showing.
Recently we’ve run into some bad luck and lost our editing software and a large amount of camera gear to theft. I just wanted to extend a sincere thank you to anyone that has donated, shared, liked, commented on the GoFundMe page that was made. Product: Cult – Glow in the Dark Grips

Cult have just released their Dak, Faith and Cult X Vans grips in this new Glow in the Dark colorway. The grips are made by ODI here in America and are currently hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Cult worldwide now. See the before and after below! That’s one way to be seen at night, that’s for sure!

How do they make glow in the dark rubber? Well, here’s a little science for you. They add phosphor to the rubber compound. Phosphor absorbs light and energizes the material. Once it has been energized, it glows green until the energy has faded off. Not sure how long these grips stay green for, but either way. Pretty interesting.

Fly Bikes – Larry Edgar Welcome Video

Here’s some news that some of you might have caught on to while watching Larry Edgar blast to the moon during the Van Doren Invitational the other weekend… Fly Bikes have officially added him to their team! It sounds like he’s still riding for SE Bikes as well, similar to how Matt Roe rides for Mutiny. Either way, they dropped this damn good video to go along with the news!

“When it comes to our team, we are always looking to find riders that have a recognizable style and know how to make riding BMX look good. We have been big fans of Larry Edgar’s riding that is fast paced and packed full of style. Plus, Larry is just as awesome off his bike as he is on it, which made it an easy decision to add him to our line up.
