It looks like Colony have been working on a special project that has had its fair share of hurdles to over come to make it happen. Above is a sneak preview of their new Pursuit sprocket that is being produced in Australia. Similar to how the cost to have products produced right here in the U.S.A versus Taiwan is higher, it’s even higher in Australia which makes something as simple as a sprocket tricky to be produced for a good price. “For years now, I’ve wanted to make some products here in Australia for Colony. But it’s proven much more difficult & less viable than expected. Sad but true, it’s not that easy to have BMX products made here in our country.
But, I am stoked to release first images of our prototype Pursuit Sprocket here made by Input for us, right here in Australia.
Inspired by the legendary stock steel pursuit wheels on many a iconic Australian car.
