These bars are based off the classics from over 10 years ago with a modernized geometry! These bars are made from 13-butted, heat-treated chromoly with a 9″ rise, 29″ width, 11-degrees of backsweep, 1-degree of upsweep, a crossbar height of 7.2″ and a crossbar width of 11.7″! The bars weigh in at 33.5 oz. with color options of flat black and chrome.

These bars are limited edition and hitting BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Volume Bikes worldwide now! If you’re looking to get a set, get on this because they will be gone before you know it!

Lexus Made a Hoverboard

No, this doesn’t have to do with BMX, but this is damn amazing. Lexus have created a hoverboard and dropped this video to prove it! Watch as these guys cruise… Well, attempt to cruise, one hell of a skatepark to test out this crazy piece of technology. Below is a little more information on how it works, but we suggest you check out the Lexus Hoverboard website to really learn how it works! The hoverboard is constructed from an insulated core, containing HTSLs (high temperature superconducting blocks). These are housed in cryostats – reservoirs of liquid nitrogen that cool the superconductors to -197°C. The board is then placed above a track containing permanent magnets. When the board is cooled to its operating temperature the track’s magnetic flux lines are ‘pinned’ into place, maintaining the hover height of the board.”

If there’s one thing we love, it’s when brands collaborate on shoes! The Shadow Conspiracy have teamed up with Vans once again for some collaboration shoes and they have turned out AMAZING! Sneak Peek: Cult – TRF Frame

Here’s a gem Jon over at Can You Dig It spotted! It looks like Neal Wood at Cult has been busy working on a new trails specific frame that will be available potentially in September if all goes to plan.

The TRF frame will be made from 4130 chromoly with a 74.5-degree head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.65″ bottom bracket height, 8.75″ stand over height and a 13.85″ – 14.25″ chain stay length. No word on exact details, but based off the drawing it appears that the frame will feature gussets on the top and down tubes, an integrated seat post clamp, seat stay removable brake mounts, a MID bottom bracket and 14mm drop outs (Sorry to the core trails guys hoping for 3/8″, haha).

The TRF will be available in 20.5″, 20.75″, 21″ and 21.25″ top tube lengths with black for the color. Expect more details closer to its release!
