Rest In Peace, Sam Tormey

It’s always so hard to let people know a rider has passed away. After a long battle with cancer, Australia’s Sam Tormey has been relieved of his pain and has moved on. We didn’t know Sam personally, but we have seen nothing but amazing things about him and he was truly a rider that loved BMX and was good for BMX. Our thoughts are with Sam and his family. Rest in Peace, Sam!

I was fortunate enough to ride with Sam a few times and he was a delight to be with and his passion for riding was strong. Cancer Bats – “Devil’s Blood” featuring Chijioke Okafo

There’s no denying that music and BMX go together like macaroni and cheese and peanut butter and jelly, so when videos like this drop it’s awesome. The band, the Cancer Bats, just released this new video for their song “Devil’s Blood” with Chijioke Okafo going to work on street spots! If you like metal and some dialed BMX riding, this is one video you gotta check out! Even if you aren’t into that kind of music, this is still one you should check out since Chijioke rules!
