We love a fresh shoe release! Here’s one in particular we have been waiting on since we got a preview back in September at Interbike! The Vans X Odyssey collaboration shoes celebrating Odyssey’s 30 year anniversary! They have released two shoes for the occasion; a Chukka Low (above) and an Era 46 Pro, with custom graphics! Soul BMX Magazine caught up with Corey Martinez to talk about his recent ACL blow out and surgery, how he’s been recovering and what he’s going to be doing once he’s back to full-strength! The guys over at Deco just hit us up with a look at their new camouflage fork compression caps! These caps are made from 6061 aluminum with a laser etched deco cover and use a ratchet head to tighten or loosen, to help avoid it from stripping out like 6mm versions can do. This one also has a cable guide for you front brake lovers.
The Camouflage fork compression cap weighs in at 0.8 oz. and is also available in colors of black, silver, red, purple, blue, purple and black swirl, red and black swirl and black and silver swirl. These compression caps are available through all shops and mail-orders that carry Deco, or direct from their WEBSTORE for $13.00 – $15.00
Note: This cap uses the H25 threading (25 x 1.5mm threading) it is compatible with most forks available like Amity RD, Bone Deth Bottom Feeder, BSD, Colony, Deco, Demolition Elite and Maiden, Division, Eastern, FBM CB4ks, Federal, Fiend Embryo, Fly Bikes, Haro Lineage, Hoffman, Kink, Mission, Mutiny Wand V3, Nitrous Afterburner, Premium, Rant, Shadow Conspiracy, Sputnic, Stolen, Subrosa, Verde and Volume forks.
Here’s one we spotted over on Can You Dig It of Jack Abbott cruising through a line at the Adelaide City trails down in Australia. This doesn’t have any crazy tricks, but it’s a fun ride and the sound of the tires buzzing, although muffled by the GoPro camera, will make you want to ride.
The 4Gats crew just dropped their latest mix edit from a few of the sessions they have been getting at the skatepark and a few streets spots in London lately! Hopefully the cold and rain over there is almost over so they can start pumping out more of these!
