Product: Stolen Bikes – Thermalite Camouflage Pedals

There have been a bunch of parts coming out in camouflage lately and it’s definitely one of the more popular non-standard color options available at the moment. The guys at Stolen Bike Co. recently dropped their popular Thermalite pedals in this new camo colorway and they turned out real good. These pedals are made from Stolen’s Thermalite nylon based material with a unique concave, low profile design with molded pins and knurling across the pedal for plenty of traction and a recessed end to help protect the bearing cover when the bike falls as well. Inside you can find a chromoly spindle with a 6mm allen key hole and 15mm wrench flats and unsealed bearings. The camouflage Thermalite pedals are available now along with color options of black, Dark blue, Gang green, Neon orange, purple, red and white with a weight of 13.8 oz.

Ray’s Bike Park Milwaukee – Rookie of the Year 2015 Video

The 2nd annual Rookie of the Year contest went down at Ray’s Bike Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 31st where riders from all over the Midwest from the beginners up through the expert, pro and Masters (40+) all came together for a day filled with good times and plenty of riding! Project Loop Skatepark Workshop with Chase Hawk & Joe Rich

This is pretty rad. If you have ever wondered how to get something going to convince your city to build a skatepark in your city or town, this is one way to make it happen. Chase Hawk and Joe Rich recently linked up with the Project Loop crew in Texas to get some momentum going behind building a park. Check it out!

Kids get up close exposure and hands on experience through creative exercises in career fields of interest . You may have caught them over the years helping build and paint ramps for at Fun Fun Fun Fest, Texas Toast Jam and X-Games in Austin. The kids worked hard raising awareness and funding to build a skatepark for the youth of Taylor, Texas. They have partnered with Evergreen Skateparks to design and build the skatepark through a series of workshops. The Union Winter Session 2015

The past few years we have partnered up with Over The Top Skatepark here in Minnesota to throw our annual BV JAM that has always been a good time! After doing contests for the last few, we decided to mix things up a bit and just throw a massive session at the park as an excuse to get everyone together to ride, have a good time and get hooked up with a ton of FREE product from our sponsors!

THIS IS NOT A CONTEST

The Union Winter Jam is going down February 14th from Noon – 8PM! It’ll be $10 at the door like a normal session! The main goal of this is to get everyone together to ride and have a fun session since it’s pretty hard to get motivated when the wind chill is -35 degrees like it has been a few times this winter! We’ll be throwing different mini jams throughout the day like a rail jam, best trick on different setups, foot down, longest skid, the vert wall sticker challenge and more to win product! Also, we’ll be doing a big product toss at the end with everything we don’t give away throughout the day!

So, if you’re looking for a good time. Get to Over the Top Skatepark at Bluff Valley Campground in Zumbro Falls, Minnesota on February 14th! We promise it will be a good time!

We caught wind that John Lee took a nasty fall at Ray’s in Cleveland the other week and landed himself in the hospital for a while. He’s starting to heal up, but the medical bills are starting to roll in and the guys at FBM have setup a Go Fund Me for people to chip in some cash to help the man out! If you have a few bucks to spare or just a couple seconds to pass the link along, it would be greatly appreciated! Get well soon, John Lee!

“John Lee, also known as the nicest man in BMX, was recently injured in a bicycle accident. Many of you know John as an East Coast Trail riding legend, and one of the key players at the small bicycle company- FBM.
John landed himself in the ER in Cleveland, and soon at a trauma unit for surgery in North Carolina. He is currently with family, recovering from surgeries to repair his eye socket, nasal cavity, broken jaw, and has also knocked out several teeth.
Without medical insurance, the bills will obviously be substantial, however we are asking friends to help out with his travel cost, and expenses incurred while he is unable to work for the next couple of months…
Eating healthy and paying bills with out a job is no easy task, especially while in recovery.
At FBM we will be working on a jam, and other fundraisers. Feel free to participate on any level….

Low Life – Lisbon Vacation

Lisbon is quickly becoming a really popular spot for riders to travel to lately! The Lowlife crew recently decided to head that way to see what all the hype was about and, needless to say, Jack Neiraeth and the rest of the crew did a killer job on the spots they came across rain or shine! Everything from the riding to the spots to the filming and editing are on point in this one! Check it!
