We don’t see a ton of videos surfacing from Costa Rica, but it’s always awesome when we do! Here’s one featuring Francisco “Gato” Ortiz getting down on street spots around San Jose where he finds plenty of ledges to grind, big gaps and stair sets to spin down and more! Definitely some awesome riding in this one.
I think every rider that is on the verge of getting hitched has tried to figure out a way to incorporate BMX into their wedding. With what we would assume is a less than 1% success rate due to bridezillas not having any of it, there are rare occasions when somebody pulls it off. Here’s a video we spotted on Flat Matters where one lucky guy pulled off a little demo for his new wife and all their friends and family at their wedding reception. Impressive.
Between the title and the length of this video being exactly 4:20, I’m sure you’re catching on to what’s going on. The Higheye crew dropped this new street mix which is filled with some great spots and real solid riding. I don’t even think there was a single clip of people smoking either, haha. Good stuff!
The guys at Animal Bikes threw at jam at 5050 Skatepark in New York recently. The park was packed full of riders and it looks like plenty of real good riding went down. Check out some highlights in this video, then check out some photos from that day by Chris Marshall over on the DIG site.

It is a great place to have for BMX in the winter in the NYC area plus a place to stay sane while there is snow on the ground.
