“Welcome to the team Lewis! I was so stoked to meet Lewis that I showed up at the airport a day early, lol. After going back and forth for a couple of months we planned this trip to get him out to Thailand and film a little welcome edit. He worked hard for this.We shot this over the space of a week in Chiang Mai while in the mix with a bunch of heavy hitters visiting Thailand at the same time. It was Lewis’ first time out on a major trip, filming and riding with dudes from all over the world. Stoked to see what the future brings for him. Side note; Lewis is from Myanmar, if you didn’t know it is in the midst of a brutal civil war and things are very hard over there. There’s a lot of destinations that riders go to, with places like Barcelona being a pretty common trip. We don’t see a ton of BMX videos coming from Malaysia, but when we do we’re always blown away by all the parks and spots. Tim Hughes and his buddy recently took a trip to Malaysia to see just what it had to offer. They came home with this 9 minute gem filled with riding, sights and more. Take a look!
