Foss Trails – Santa Jam

December 21, 2020

There have been a few jams still popping off despite everything going on these days. Here’s a look at what went down at the Foss Trails Jam out in California. Hit play for highlights from the jam with a mix of riding from the young guns to Pros like Cory Nastazio, Larry Edgar, Mike “Hucker” Clark, Justin Spriet, Travis Hughes and more! It looks like everyone had a real good time and these trails look like a ton of fun to ride. Hit play and take it all in!

“I’m ready for the comments about covid, but last weekend, there was a trail jam out in far-east San Diego and I couldn’t help but head out. The Foss Trails have been slowly building steam over the last couple months as a bit of an Oasis in the middle of this pandemic. The owner, Chase Cromwell, welcomes kids from the neighborhood and pretty much anyone who knows someone who knows someone…if that makes sense. But yeah, it was good to feel a sense of normalcy and be at an event at the tail end of 2020. Gives me hope for next year…

Thanks to Nic Long, Alex Cazares, and Chase Cromwell for making this happen.” – Our BMX

Sunday Bikes – Jake Seeley & Alec Siemon 2021 Signature Completes Promos

December 21, 2020

If you’re curious what the signature complete bikes from Sunday Bikes can handle, here’s two examples! Check out these promos featuring Jake Seeley putting his 2021 Street Sweeper complete, and Alec Siemon putting his 2021 Forecaster complete, to work out in the streets. It’s pretty amazing how dialed complete bikes are these days, and they can definitely take a beating!

“Built around Jake Seeley’s all-new chromoly aftermarket signature frame, it uses a 75.25° head tube angle, a very short chainstay and a higher bottom bracket to match perfectly with Jake’s technical riding style. With its 4-piece bars, 160mm cranks, sealed Odyssey Clutch freecoaster and Sunday Street Sweeper tires, this is truly a pro-level bike.” – Sunday Bikes

Kink BMX – Hobie Doan Just Biking

December 21, 2020

Kink kicking the week off right with this fresh Hobie Doan video filled with gems he filmed over the course of the year. Despite everything going on, Hobie was still able to log some miles and crush a bunch of spots. You already know this one has a ton of heat in it, so hit play and enjoy!

“Hobie Doan is not the kind of guy to sit around and wait. With all the downtime this year, he steadily continued to stack footage throughout the Northwest and California, along with some bangs from a pre-covid trip to Barcelona. Undeniable heat from Hobie, as per usual!

Film/Edit by Taran Gilbert.” – Kink BMX

Mike Gray 2020

December 21, 2020

Check out this fresh BMX video featuring Mike Gray out slaying street spots up in Canada the past few months! Needless to say, this one is too good to pass up!

“We’ve got an awesome one for you today! With the Canadian fall and winter transition in full effect, Mike Gray, accompanied by filmer Joel Fortin, took to Toronto’s streets to get some shit done before it was too late – any dry day was made the most of! Needless to say, Mike filmed some incredible clips for this, including his passion for rooftops and technical rail moves. The ender is this is bananas! There’s even some guesties from 3 other Vans Canada riders to boot.

Power Hour: Giancarlos Ramírez

December 20, 2020

It’s pretty unreal how many insanely dialed riders there are that are throwing down moves that would have landed them a spot on the podium at most contests, that you probably haven’t heard of. Here’s a new Power Hour featuring Giancarlos Ramirez where he absolutely CRUSHES Kenneth Tencio‘s personal ramp setup in Costa Rica. There’s a good chance you haven’t heard of this guy just yet, but you will definitely have him on your radar going forward because there’s no way you don’t see more of Giancarlos in the future. Take a look because this dude has some seriously wild combos filled with flips, whips, spins and more!

“Kenneth Tencio’s protégé, Giancarlos Ramírez, took advantage of a year without traveling and stepped his riding up to the next level. Watch him absolutely destroy 10cio Park in Jacó, Costa Rica with a little help from the bossman himself and Nick Bruce.” – Vital BMX

“A heavy list of Champs right here! Callan Stibbards, Jake Corless, Kyle Ralston, Dylan Matthews, Tom Roddy, Matt Bell, Mitch Morris, and Jamie Mauri shut down Perth, Western Australia in this latest one from Kyle Ralston. If this doesn’t make you want to ride you’re already dead.

The Daily Grind – Jeff Purdy “Social Dissonance”

December 19, 2020

It’s been awesome seeing people finding ways to keep the stoke alive over this past year. Jeff Purdy has been crushing the solo sessions and ended up with a ton of great clips for this new The Daily Grind BMX video. Real solid riding, a great mix of spots and some clean film wor. Can’t go wrong with this one! Check it!

“Fueled by the strange powers of Grateful Dead music, a desire to find new (to me) interesting set ups, and a drive to push my own creativity, I set out on a journey with nothing but my iPhone and a $20 tripod. This video started as a healthy outlet in response to increasing social distancing guidelines and restrictions, and ended up a personal journey that I feel helped me grow quite a bit as an individual. I hope you enjoy it a fraction of how much I enjoyed making it!” — Jeff Purdy
