Mutiny Bikes Closing Its Doors After 22 Years

September 14, 2020

Mutiny Bikes Closing

2020 has been one incredibly weird year for the world, and BMX as a whole. We’ve seen incredible demand for BMX bikes, frames and parts, but we’ve also seen a handful of shops and brands make the decision to close their doors. Earlier this year FBM closed its doors after 18 years, and now today Mutiny Bikes have announced that they made the decision to close after 22 years. The past few years have been pretty tough in general for BMX brands / shops, and we’ve seen a number of brands change up the way many do things and shift their budgets to keep things going. We noticed Mutiny had been quieter than usual the past year or so, which is why this news isn’t something we didn’t suspect might be happening. It’s definitely a bummer to hear and we with Gaz and everyone else involved with the brand the best of luck in the future! BMX definitely lost a good one today.

The Stoned Street guys recently threw a jam over in Tallinn, Estonia to get a bunch of the riders together for a day of riding and good times. They kicked things off at a fun plaza setup, then made their way out into the streets to hit up a bunch of spots. Here’s a highlight video giving us a look at the riding that went down, along with some action from a Game of B-I-K-E they did as well! It looks like there was a good turn out along with no shortage of good times and dialed riding that went down! Take a look at all the action in the video above.

“The Stoned Street dudes in Estonia got together recently for a meet-up in the streets and had a hoot. Chris Patrick-Tilk was on hand to document it all – enjoy. ” – DIG

Pusher BMX – Mountain Trip 2020

September 12, 2020

The Pusher BMX squad loade up for a road trip this summer to hit up a bunch of parks and spots, and get some camping time in. Although it sounds like it wasn’t the smoothest trip and there were issues like the van breaking down, these guys made the most of it and ended up with a rad video filled with dialed riding. Hit play and check out what went down!

“2020 has been a wild year to say the least and this years mountain trip stays on that tip. The boys encountered van troubles, flight for life, and massive hangovers all in the name of fun. These trips are the highlight of the year for us and we hope you enjoy the edit!” – Pusher BMX

Charlie Gumley Memorial Video

September 12, 2020

It’s always sad to hear about a rider passing away. The other week the Australian BMX scene took a big hit when word that Charlie Gumley passed away in an accident. Charlie was one of those riders that had a ton of talent and definitely wasn’t scared to send it, even on tricks that had never been done before, like the Twix Air he did way back in 2013. Wayne Cant put together a bunch of footage of Charlie that he had on file as a memorial and to remind everyone just how talented Charlie was. Rest In Peace, Charlie. You left your mark on BMX and won’t be forgotten.

“On the 22nd of August 2020, Charlie Gumley sadly passed away in a freak accident. These are some of the clips I was fortunate enough to film with Charlie in our younger years.

Ride on Charlie.” – Wayne Cant
