The Grindwheel BMX Quarantine Challenge

The quarantine has lead to a lot of people being stuck inside and not able to go out and ride much. Fortunately, it looks like plenty of sessions are going down still from driveway and backyard sessions to street sessions and more. Grindwheel BMX teamed up with Route Co. to do a quarantine challenge where riders from all over submitted clips that they compiled into this edit. The end result turned out real good with plenty of laughs and creativity mixed in. Hit play and check it out!

“This video was produced by Route Co. Creative with the Grindwheel BMX crew using “Cinebody,” a user directed/generated app for smartphone users. Participants from all over the US joined the challenge and self-filmed their best riding around and inside their homes keeping a safe distance from people outside their quarantine circle. Riders submitted clips into the 5 riding categories and then all the clips were compiled into this little edit cut together by Dustin Millard.

We’re always stoked to check out some new Mat Olson footage! Here’s a fresh mix he put together from the past year of traveling, riding and more. This is a mix of riding at parks, dirt jumps and demo ramp setups. This is loaded with a ton of great riding, with a super good mix of tricks keeping things interesting from start to finish. Sinco Crew Handycam Party

The Sinco Crew coming through with a fresh mixtape filmed on an OLD camera. Somehow the camera survived for over a year of filming and they ended up with a bunch of clips. The footage got pushed off to the side for a bit, but now that there’s plenty of time to be had due to the quarantine in Italy, Mattia Lussana decided to edit up the footage. Here’s a look! This is a mix of riding and random clips, making for a solid watch. Take a look! It’s pretty wild how much the quality of video has changed over the years.

“During these unprecedented times in postwar human history, Mattia Lussana graduated from his 2-year master’s degree and found out the time to finally edit these clips. Filmed in Video8 with his father’s 1995 Sony Handycam, this video includes riding from late 2018 and early 2019 that has been sitting on the hard drive for too long… so we felt it was the right moment to put it out, enjoy!

We just can’t wait to get back to ride our bikes and to party with all of you as soon as possible…

Mongoose – Day In The Life of Nikita Ducarroz

Mongoose caught up with Nikita Ducarroz to follow her for a Day In The Life. Nikita made the move to North Carolina to spend her days training, and it looks like it was a full day of riding and training. Hit play to see what she gets into!

“After staying out in Holly Springs, North Carolina at the start of 2020, Nikita decided to make the move and become a permanent resident. “I just really loved the vibe, the park, and the routine here at Daniel Dher’s park, and with Olympics coming up (now moved to 2021) I thought it would be a great opportunity to step up my riding even more and learn from everyone out here”. Along with Daniel Wedemeijer as her coach for Tokyo, Nikita now lives and trains with a small group of Olympic-bound riders who all have a common goal.
