Colony BMX – Tom Justice Welcome Video

December 23, 2024

Well that didn’t take long for Tom Justice to find a new home!

When news broke that GT Bicycles was letting go all of their BMX and MTB riders, pausing new production, laying off employees, etc. last week, we started trying to guess where riders were going to land next. Tom Justice is one of those riders that absolutely SHREDS and could be a good fit for so many different teams, so we weren’t sure exactly what team he might have ended up riding for next. Well, the wait didn’t take long because Tom is officially doing it for Colony BMX! Here’s a short but very sweet video, along with some words to bring the news. Things might be a little rough in the BMX industry right now, but it looks like Tom, Colony and Alan’s BMX are all making moves for a better future.

“We had been talking to Tom Justice about riding for Colony on & off since 2017. But over the years, it just was never the right timing for us both. Well fast forward to 2024 & it’s now the right time!

Tom Justice will be riding for Colony from here on out. Good things come to those who wait & we are beyond stoked.

Tom’s riding speaks for itself & his attitude towards BMX in general, is what we are all about at Colony.
Unique riding, all while having fun doing so.

Welcome to the team Tom!

This all coincides with our fresh new distribution move in the UK teaming up with Alans BMX.
It all started with Alans BMX back in 2008 & it feels so right to be making things happen together again.
Riders & BMX shops alike, will be able to get a steady supply of Colony products in the UK for 2025 & beyond.

This move with Alans BMX & having Tom join the team, is something we are very excited about.

Especially since 2025 marks 20 years of Colony. We have many things planned for next year to celebrate this milestone.
Good times ahead having fun, riding bikes.
” – Clint Millar – rider/owner

“So stoked to be riding for Colony going into 2025 and beyond! I’ve always been a big fan of what they do as a brand and there vibe towards just having fun on bikes! It’s been a long time coming but I am stoked to be joining there already amazing crew of riders moving forwards. In addition to that, I am fired up to work along side Alan’s BMX for the UK distribution! A shop that I have ordered from since I first started riding BMX. Really keen to see where this journey takes us.” – Tom Justice

“We’d worked with Tom a bit previously and always loved his riding. The timing for this, with us welcoming Colony back into the Alans BMX fold for 2025, is absolutely perfect, I can’t think of a better ambassador for the brand than Tom, with the goal of growing BMX here in the UK, we’re all excited for the new year.” – Alan Woods / Alans BMX

Poiss Barbier – Meilleur

December 20, 2024

Check out this new Poiss Barbier video!

After some time off his bike due to a knee surgery, Poiss Barbier is back on it! Here’s his latest BMX video packed with great riding from street spots over in France. No shortage of rad spots and clips in this one. Take a look!

“In 2022 I moved to Marseille in the south of France and filmed the SQYPHONE MARSEILLE project with the crew here. During that time I got better and better on the bike and by 2023 I got a new camera and wanted to film my best video part possible. Sadly a few month later I got a knee surgery but filming that video was always in my mind during the recovery time, I knew I would be back in the streets.

As I was back stacking clips I realised I needed to be better off the bike too, a better human, a better boyfriend etc and worked hard for that despite the knee, some teeth issues, a full time job and a family life & filming other projects. I managed to stack clips that im super proud off, but I realised, even if these are some of my best ones, I know I can do better that, I still progress and I still feel good.

So here is my best video part, for now ! Enjoy !” – Poiss Barbier
