Brian Histand Memorial & Middeltown Skatepark Fund

This is awesome to see. Mike Purcell and Dave Krone have organized a GoFundMe to raise funds to build a Brian Histand Memorial bowl at the new Middletown Skatepark that is being built. They are trying to raise $60,000 to help fund this project, and we’re sure it’s going to be amazing if it happens. Check out the video above to see some footage of Brian riding over the years before he passed away, along with some more details below. “Brian Histand was a great human and an incredible BMX rider.

On May 15th, 2013, Brian Histand went missing. Three years later his bones were found in the desert of Phoenix, Arizona.

Brian learned a lot of his bike skills at Middletown Skatepark in Langhorne, PA. A new skatepark is being built by 5th Pocket Skateparks in place of the old Middletown Skatepark. Ride PA BMX is starting a fundraiser for a Histand memorial bowl at the new skatepark. $60K is our goal; if we reach our goal, a bowl will be built in memory of Brian.” – Ride PA
