Time for a new frame? Have you seen the new Colony Monash frame that was just released? The Monash is Colony’s brand new team frame that starts out with full 4130 chromoly tubing, a 75.5-degree head tube angle, 70-degree seat tube angle, 11.5″ bottom bracket height, 9″ stand over height and 13.1″ chain stay length (slammed). The Monash features a heat-treated Hourglass head tube with gussets on the top and down tubes, dent resistant straight gauge top and down tubes, a heat-treated MID bottom bracket, removable seat post clamp, tapered seat and chain stays that are wider apart to fit 2.4″ tires, heat-treated 5mm thick CNC machined drop outs and removable brake mounts using Colony’s Investment Cast removable mounts.
The Monash frame is available worldwide through BMX shops and mail-orders that carry Colony now and comes in 20.4″, 20.8″ and 21″ top tube lengths with a weight of 5.22 lbs. (20.4″) and colors of Translucent Black and Translucent Orange. More photos below!
