Here’s one we got a look at, at Interbike back in September. S&M Bikes have been working on a new park specific frame called the Dagger frame. Based off what we saw at their suite in Vegas, this frame will feature a 75.75 head tube angle, 71-degree seat tube angle, 11.6″ bottom bracket height, 7.25″ seat tube height and a short 12.8″ to 13.2″ chain stay length. No word on other special features of the frame, but based off the photo, we’re seeing gussets on the top and down tubes, what appears to be a butted top tube (could be the lighting), an integrated seat post clamp, tapered seat and chai stays, removable brake mounts on the seat stays, S&M logos on the caps at the drop outs and integrated chain tensioners that thread through the drop outs. No word on top tube lengths yet, but we would imagine they will have a few different options and colors available.
This frame is going to be available in a very limited edition glow-in-the-dark Sublime Lime (color can be seen below) color with matching 26mm offset Widemouth forks. If you’re digging this color, have your local shop get ahold of S&M Bikes asap to get your pre-order in now!
The Dagger frame will be available in two weeks, so we’ll let you know when it’s officially out!
